@Salik990: Actually the guy says that he was mistaken and sent me the pics of the wrong engine. He actually has a B18c GSR which is in pretty good condition but asking a lot for it.
mounts included , dont really know the output of the setup as it never made it in the car
its basically a fresh setup not used im thinking should be around 170 something or close to it with the aggressive head package it has
I dont know where hav u read tht h22 are sick although they r not as tough as honda b series but they are good enough.We have many swaped h22 around these days running all good.rest iTS notmy engine the owners no is there in the thread
how to judge its condition.Compression testing+opening the chamber n check the crank etc condition frm there as usualy tappets are sprayed wth some chemicals which make them bling bling
You are right but the B series are very expensive to be honest and the more I research the more unattractive it becomes if you look at it from a cost per bhp scenario. I went out to the market thinking I had more than enough for the B18c R swap but it seems like I will be doing the H22 swap instead. The very high price is now putting me off the B series option. Sure my car will be 30kg heavier but seriously I think its worth it.

Since you B18/20ers are all here.. dare I ask what the fuel consumption is like from these engines on a normal (not boosting) run..?
i get around 7-7.5 km/l ...on hi-octane driving off vtec....

i did consider it for a time but in its current form it needs a lot of work to extract its full potential. It would also be a tough install in my car. i still wish him good luck for his sale though.
No his H22 are not type s but standard. They are in great condition I must admitt! I might buy one very soon. The b18c type r is also in great condition but its wayyyy too expensive. I still have two more engines that I want to check out before I finalize the h22. One is a b18c GSR and another is the H22a Type s. I bending towards the b18c gsr because its a great motor and will fit into my car without much hassle. At this point I just cant justify the huge premium between a b18c gsr and the type r. So might go with the GSR if the motor is in good condition.
