Already contacted this guy (rocky sheikh) but its sold.
Before this i had a 94 White Corolla. And these lcd adds were every were ! But now when i need it...WUSH ! They are all gone.

Btw i would recommend you to go for branded one. These indash dvds are just show piece. Check out my thread about my ride, i installed rockmars then got rid of same.

Yeah people have told me that it reduces the sound quality n stuff. But I dont care about that, cause currently Ive got Pioneer deck which comes in the old altis (09) I just want to buy this cause of the look it gives, I love it how it fits exactly in the area and matches with the dash.

Rocky my budget doesnt matter cause I want this lcd, the used on PW should not be more than 9K. And some guy here on PW said that its price in the market has dropped at its available for no more than 15k in the market (Lahore).
I can also go for the lcd which is coming in the new altis but thats WAAY out of my range.
If I cant find a used lcd in a week or so, then Ill go for a new one and buy it from the market.
I dont know how much the new one costs here in Rwp/Isb, but Ill go tomorrow and find out, Ill also pay a visit to Rwp Junkyard (sultan ka khu) Plus if the sound gives me a lot of problem in QUALITY not volume I can always upgrade my rear speakers to 718's or something and install an decent amp. But Im one of those guys who installed a heavy sound system years ago, when no body had, and now Im tired of loud music. Yeah you enjoy loud music when your high but my current speakers fulfill that requirement. Plus Ill have that pioneer deck which the came with the car in reserve which I can re-install anytime. Anyways what did you have in mind...

Lol, no need to say sorry for that. I think i can get u a new one for a price lower than 15k (maybe 13-14k). A friend has a friend at Hall road who is the main distributor/wholesaler of these. I'll ask him in a day or two. Do u know someone who can pick it frm lahore ???

Yeah Ive got my friends there. But the thing is that Im looking for 2nd hand.
Anyways can you ask your friend that is there any difference in quality of the sound and display of the lcd's (7") because there are 2-3 types of Chinese companies also that is the NEW 8" lcd better in quality than the old 7" ?
Ive heard that the 8" sucks cause the screen has gotten bigger thus the pixels and the resolution sucks big time.

I saw 2 lcds one had 5 buttons each on one side. And the other had 6 buttons each on one side.
So there is got to be some difference in the quality. Other wise shouldnt they all be the same ?

As far as quality is concerned, rockmars is better than all other brands available in the market. And yes the 8" one has a lower video resolution. But the 8" one looks way more sexier and adds more beauty to the interior.
The 5 button and the six button ones are either some other brand or older models od rockmars. I too had a 5 button one which was an older model (as far as i can remember rockmars TY001 was the model number)
I'll contact him tommorow and confirm the latest rate of brand new headunit. Plus i'll keep an eye on used ones, if any of my friends is willing to sell i'll tell u

No doubt the 8" is saxxxay ! But alot of people including the sales men have told me that the 8" is very delicate, they said it cracks easily, they even showed me lcds some cracked during fitting and some got cracked whilst using em. They had the 8" but advised me not to buy it. So Im not taking any risks...
I read your PM, anyways I found this lcd its company name starts from D...I think, I checked it and its quality and everything was equall to rocksmars. Its a 7" and is for 13500. I had to come to Lahore tomorrow cause my cousin was getting engaged but the engagement is postponed - and all hell has broken lose in our family lol. I had to buy something from Jz as well, if the plan didnt get screwed up I would have bought the lcd from your guy.
Youve done a lot for me, without you I wouldnt have known the rates and probably would have ended up buying the wrong lcd at a high price. Like we say in Urdu "koi mujhay tuk laga day ta". Nobody usually does this, Im sorry for all the trouble. If you need and info regarding anything from Rwp/Isb. You can contact me.
