Why not go for G13 for khyber which is an agressive car, its cheaper and more powerful.

Sorry Brothers for late reply,

Infact i have checked the market of bilal Ganj and they are demanding around 45,000 to 55,000/- for an outstanding G-10 engine. That is too much.

G 13 is not a fuel efficient engine as far as i heard about it, so thats why im seraching G-10. More over G 15 needs alterations and im not in mood of altering any thing because i have to travel outside Lahore and it is too risky.

Why don't you rebuild your existing engine as Khyber engine prices have gone up. Once they were sold for not more than 15K.

get it rebuilt,get genuine parts n get it done frm good mechanic,it will cost u not more than 25-30 k n every thing will b good as new n will stay in original condition...

Thanx for your suggestion. I have also worked on this side. mechanics in Lahore are demanding around 35-40K for complete rebuilt. I have checked 3 mechanics who are very good in Lahore. One mechenic in Faisalabad is aying that he will charge 35000 and will give guarentee of 1 year or 100,000 KM .

Frankly speaking. Im completely confused what to do . A very good friend of mine is saying that U sell it as it is and buy another one. But this ride is Islamabad Registered and look and body wise it is perfect. Completely rust proof and interior is also in excellent condition. Is ko sale karnai ko dill nahi karta.

I overhauled my Khyber's engine in Nov 2008 and the total expenses were 22000 Rupees. Either the spare parts have become too much expensive now or your engine is in pretty bad condition.

i got my khyebr engine rebuilt lik 2 and half year back..costed me 20000 with all things new except clutch plate n pressure plate,both were good tht time n aftr 32 k kms,car still havent given any sorta problem...

i think u shud sell off ur engine,n buy kabli...will cost u around 20-25k...cuz ur givin ur old engine too..so cost will b brought down!

My ride is currently running on petrol. On CNG it is dead slow. CNG Tunning mechenic told me that its engine is too week and on CNG it will destroy your PLUGS. So you should overhull it. Now on petrol Car gives maximum speed of 80-85 KM/H. and thats it. Engine sounds likee helicopter. Once i stop my ride to found if there is helicopter around me but then i realized that its my car engine sound. Ha ha ha. Now I have a 4 wheel road runner helicopter.
