Got delivery of my swift on 18th of this month
still finding another car under 700k
Is it going to be a second car for a long route?
no sir. it will be for local use. actually this swift belongs to my father.
Then why not a 660?
browse some pages back he mentioned that it going to be his daily runner
it will be underpower. in hatch, i'll prefer cultus.
They aren't underpowered at all. Anyways, cultus is also a good car. But not worth more than 5 or 5.5, since its your daily runner, best it to be relatively new and in great condition. Cultus is a viable option, find a clean one, single hand used
cultus 08 efi are not less than 700k.i am preferring cultus over all jdms is due to its low maintainance and it have 1000cc engine.I think in jdm, the only option i have is alto.
Best opt for a nice clean, 2005 one. You can get a good one till max 6. The ones after that are pointlessly expensive
its really hard to find a 05 in good condition. everyone uses cultus for the local use and only few of them take good care of their cars. maximum 05-06 cultuses are abused i believe,
I have seen many that are great condition. I had one, sold it a few months back, my neighbour had one, they sold it a few months back. Still quite a few in my view but the owners are double minded in selling.. easily found in isb
right now i am double minded too.i am still after a clean indus (jdm) but couldnt find any in my range. cultus dill behlane k liye hai.. but if kuch na mila thn cultus.
@vampire8668 bro if u r looking for a car for city driving nothing better than a 660 jdm. BTW congrats wise choice of choosing a swift for long routes.
Thankyou very much sir.
sir which one is better 1.indus jdm2.cultus efi3. alto jdm (i think only this one fits in my budget)?
Indus is no doubt a very good car. But it's very old now. Almost impossible to find one in good nick. Even if u find one in good nick. The car will require frequent and expensive maintenance. As you r pretty familiar that there is no concept of periodic replacement of parts in Pakistan. The jub tak chalti Hai chalao method works here. So u would be visiting mechanics regularly and something would be giving up every now and then. Then again it's a big car and big cars become a bit hassle to drive in rushy areas especially in lahore.Cultus is probably the cheapest among 3 to maintain. But is absolutely rubbish. No fun at all and low quality. Jdm Alto, Mira fits your budget. Parts were issue in the past but now after they have become successful in pak. Parts r readily available. Very spacious from inside. Decent acceleration and exceptional a.c . These cars r perfect for city driving. But do get it thoroughly checked before buying.
Alto JDM will be the best choice here!Best of luck in getting one!
thanks for the advice.i've never bought a jdm before. so do tell me what to check before buying a jdm. like what to check in documents and mechanically
Check it like an ordinary vehicle, no magic tricks involved. Check the body for an accident free one and check it mechanically for an authentic mileage and work free vehicle
