thanks for the advice.
i've never bought a jdm before. so do tell me what to check before buying a jdm. like what to check in documents and mechanically

Buying a jdm is no rocket science. U just need to take care of the following
1. Do not trust the mileage on odo meter. It is mostly reversed. Same is the case with local cars as well.
2. Check the engine and other mechanicals suspension etc properly for and signs of excessive wear and tear. Judge the car by looking at the mechanical condition of the car and not by mileage.
3. Get the car checked for any accidents major.
Minor touchings r totally normal. 2 3 pieces paint is okay but the car must not be involved in any major accident. If it is it is most probably repaired by tons of jugaar and will give problems later on
It is preferable to take a mechanic and painter with u for checking.
In documents the following docs r most important.
1. Export certificate.
2. Bill of lading.
Always match the engine and chassis number before buying.

If getting a latest unregistered JDM then check it's auction sheet.
If an old used one then just take any good mechanic and denter/painter with you and show him the car, they'll charge 1000-2000. Ask the mechanic to check the car it's engine and every mechanical things.
For denter/painter ask him to check for any repairs on body. They know better than us and if the car has been involved in an accident before, a good mechanic will easily recognise it and tell you.
