Guys what should be the price of an almost new Xperia. and what do you say about this mobile. I heard that its a sluggish set and hangs every now and then.

X1 Xperia is one of the best fones i have used ! its slide is awesome ! R3 the latest firmware is flawless however old firmwares had problems ! go for it and u wont regret ! its keyboard is nice !

@TypeR, how can I know of new firmware while buying Xperia. how about its performance. Is there any other phone in same class which is better than Xperia

BoosZone I suggest you should not go for Xperia, wait for Sony ericson Idou Or simply buy the Nokia N97

Maybe in this September..............But its Gonna be good like it has 12mp Camera,,,It maybe a Good rival for Nokia N97....but it does not have qwerty keyboard and 32gb memory as it has only 8gb

^^ i think the two phones are aimed at diferent customers. Xperia is more business whereas idou is multimedia phone.

hmm.. I think it would be better if someone who has used Xperia can share his experience here.
N97 is a great phone, no doubt about that, but there is a big price tag attached to it as compared to Xperia and personally this is one of the factors why i would prefer Xperia over N97

Well no problem even if ur fone has R1 or R2 u can update it via sony ericsson update service to R3 ! battery timings are amazing 8hrs talktime and 2 days standby but if u use wifi then it drains quickly !
My friend had touch pro we compared both and xperia x1 is far better ! it has better slide , bigger and high resolution screen , metal body , better battery time , panel interface n etc !
