we have golden street lights so that the light does not vanish in fog or wet
same thing goes for HIDs or any other light emmiter

but then y every BMW car/jeep has white HIDs ^o)

try al-sheikh traders in f-10 markaz near sufi resturant. They keep genuine products but sometimes they charge a little too steep

I replaced the standard headlight bulbs of my Avensis with these blue headlights bulbs, what I have noticed is that while they look very nice in the city when you are driving in bad weather conditions or on roads with no street lighting these blue bulbs are absolutely useless cant see absolutely nothing. Have to use fog lights or beams.

the color thingy is my personal observation and will stick to it.

for exceed... if u r trying for single bulb hid... try to fetch something with has h/l machinical feature. it will save ur cost. anyways u can check the following....

xenon+halogen
xenon (single tube with no high/low function)
bi-xenon (4 bulbs+4 ballasts) most expensive;)
bi-xenon (4 bulbs+2 ballasts) good for vehicles such as new corolla, civic, etc
xenon H/L (2 bulbs+ 2 ballasts) high/low function controlled through motor

With out projector HID r waste of money. Just show no go. You won't see better on road.

exceed buddy... color wont affect the price thingy.. first u should be knowing what u really want in the car. for the price i dont have much idea of paki market but can help u once u get me the reference price. the installation is usually for 500/-. i guess the basic should be around 8k-10k as its wholesale price from china is around 68-88$ fob

@jaanleva arent these bulbs the same like normal halogen bulbs????????? the normal ones doesnt provide clear view while on road. well from where did u get them and are these no 1???????????

i dont think 4 HID lamps can be lit using 2 ballasts. Each lamp needs a seperate ballast i'd suppose.

I agree with @tiger......... I know two friends who installed these rs 400-500 XENON effects tubes ......... one who installed it in his civic have thrown them away ..... and i had to drive the mehran of the other... and i would be throwing them away when i get hold of the car again....... totally crap.. yeah they look good when i LOOK AT the car...... but when u r driving the car and have to LOOK AHEAD..... they are completely useless...........

went to saddar. today . Friday.
Thought id get HIDS !! unfortunaly only one shop was open. and this is what i got. H4 ofcourse. Korean tube (they last long) and about 5 hours after the chnage. I want to sell them. lol. I wont say the visibilty is patahtic but still id prefer the original ones. very little difference. I did not get my parking lights change so they can also be blamed for the yellowish ting. and ofcourse , my car doesnt have crystal lights so the " looks good " part isnt even near. got them for rs.550 , selling - rs 300. =p
hardly 30 mintues used. I dont really expect them to sell , its just thr for shugal.
(the bulbs inside the pack are the original ones! )
