XENON effect bulbs for 400 ONLY

yesterday i got new bulbs for my honda civic
THE prices ranged from 250-600
i went for the 400rs onesAND 30 RS for fitting.IT Gives xenon white colored light.
ITS even better and brighter than my HIDs on my santro.that costed me 12000 rs.(now i think it was a waste of money)
(the bulbs in the pic r original honda ones not H4)

one more thing what does H4 means

seems nice... how is the visibility on these white halogen lights. and is there something with a bit yellowish xenon effect type on that series u got?

hi, bhai these bulbs are only 4500K & in market the my cousin bought original HID's "EAGLE EYES" they are 25000K & i dont think they would be brighter than those.

these bulbs are a pretty decent buy,i bought same type of bulbs for 250 about 2 yrs back & they r still working fine

Janleva, aap neh in bulbs aur HID ko compare kur keh wakai mein jaan hee leh lee...These are just substitutes for HID....No way they even come close to HID's...i have similar bulbs in my city too, much better than stock IMHO

the maximum is i guess 10k and after that yje light goes out of visible reagion

for HID u should be knowing that
- K denotes the "Kelvin" temperature.
1K=1C
K does not mean CANDLE or the brightness of the light

now how does this K thingy works...

if the K value is 4300 it would be around yellowish white color. it would have a better visibility on roads.
6000K is pure white color.

the K starts from Golden Yellow to white to blue and to purple and finally black. this means that @ 3200K it would be golden yellow white at 9000K blue and 22000k around purple

the lower the value of K the better the visibility would be.
if u need more info on hid, let me know. i have been in HID business for many many years (not dealing in pak)

one more thing.. HID takes 1/3 of power from batteries compare to halogen and has 5 times more of a life span

As these heat up more than stock bulbs... do they tend to damage headlight's interior after some years ?

the reaction of xenon gas is conducted via 20000 volts.
i have been using hid H/L for my cultus for a long time now. the head haven't showed any burns....

now the K effect thingy. if u have studied physics in ur school (which i didn't)... check the properties of colors. people go for blue not because of visibility but simply the look cool.

a yeah back i imported hids of different K values just to check it myself. and what i found out was that the best temperature is of 3700-4300k as it will work on fog, wet roads and dusty weather. while 6k is white but fails on wet roads (u can't see anything on them). blue sucks on wet roads and foggy weather.... purple looks cool but has the same problem. haven't tested green yet... i guess it would yield the same.

unfortunately there is very little factual awareness on HId in our local markets.

salamz ... can any one plz post the pics of their carz with these 400rs bulbs and will the colour be pure whiTe or some yellowish shade will also come .. i am planning to install them in coure will it then give some more light if i compare it with the yellow factory onez.. wiLL it be OKK ?? thNKz

Yes, and if you look into it than that is true, because I had these Xenon lights in my corolla (blue ones) the visibilty was very poor during rain. Bu tit looks so cool at night lol

nearly all the passenger cars are fitted with the same standard headlight bulbs named the "H4"...so, this also answers janleva's query.
