Xli 2009 AC compressor suggestion/recommendation

Hi fellas, requesting expert advice from the members on below issue.
Car: Xli 2009
ODO: 75000 Kms
AC stopped cooling, technician suggested to replace compressor as old one has completed its life. Original from Toyota would be too costly so not considering that option. What would be the most efficient and economically viable option? Please suggest which compressor would be good and from where I can get. Cost estimate would be great if someone can share this as well.

P.S. I am in Karachi, any suggestions considering this would be great.

install 2004 to 2008 old model compressor will work good

No maint on AC compressor previously. Don't have pressure readings as car is with my dad who is away.

Cant help much without readings. A faulty expansion valve also have same symptoms of failing compressor.
Also weather is cold nowadays for an AC job. Minimum ambient temperature should be 30 degree celsius.

Not all mechanics here follow refrigtant pressure-temperature chart.

in cars - its extremely easy - doesnt matter if you are in alaska or in sahara - you have the volumetric capacity printed on the car itself, assemble system, pressure test with nitrogen, verify all leak points, vacuum it out, fill the quantity/weight of gas mentioned on sticker. Let it roll.

Does the market assume that the factory has A/C techs filling new cars with cylinders and HVAC manifold gauges while chewing paan and scratching nads?

Can you please help me conclude on this? What should be the most reasonable and economical option to replace Xli09 AC compressor? Someone suggested to go for older model Xli comp while others are suggesting to put Honda City's comp. Got the suggestion of installing new sanden rotary comp as well. Would be great if you can recommend a seller in KHI as well.

Whats wrong with its own model compressor?

Make sure the ac shop uses a dedicated vacuum pump to pull out moisture and uses scales to measure quantity.

If they are following thandakk ka andaaza with manifold gauges, find another shop.

There were comments regarding unreliable compressor in few models including xli09 so it made me think about reliable alternates. Can you recommend any reliable/reasonable seller in KHI?

My 2016 corolla 1.8 cvti compressor went bad. It was bad from day one, but dealership used their tactics and didn't replace it under warranty. I changed it with original one from bilal ganj. Surprisingly I found a clean nose cut car whose engine and parts were as new as 10k driven car. Replaced it with that in just 9000rs.
