Bhai to be personal app nay apni gari kharab karli because once upon a time me on motorway at 170kmh aur aagy aik dog aa gaya aur radiator damage kar gaya aur without notice car bohat heatup ho gaye same as you gasket problem. main nay bhi normal mechanic say
gasket dalwali aur phir engine hi change kerna perha because normal mechanic say bohat kam chance hota hai gasket sahi adjust ho nay ka aur honda aur toyota kay tu bohat muskil say.

they head a engine facing machine

you dont need to face the head unless it is warped - which in most cases is not was it checked with a straight edge? - Today I was on skype with a freind of mine who I was guiding on some repairs, and he asked me to assist him in head straightness check. It was spot on perfect - Yet the mechanic wanted to face it.

I think the mechanic gets a kick back amount from the machinist.

In an all aluminium engine like yours when you overheat it to the point of catastrophe - the block also is softened and destroyed. No amount of facing can help you.

The other problem usually with iron block and aluminium head engines is that it can warp if the mechanic does not loosen the head in a sequence. I have seen it many times in Pakistan.
