Sister what is the condition of Catalytic Converter (if its there) of your car?

It hardly goes to 120-130 km/h even at 5th gear with accelerator fully pressed. Normally runs at 100 km/h. What would be the reason and whats the sol. Its odo is 240000 km.

Time to change clutch kit, parts brand exedy or Aisin ( pressure plate, clutch plate, thrust bearing ) change transmission fluid ( use toyota fluid or aisin fluid )

There's no catalytic converter in 2012 model xli. They started giving it in 2013 with a special sticker on the rear screen mentioning this brilliant feature

It is there in 2012 models. I have owned it and got.it cleaned as well.

I had 2012 june Xli and it was without cat converter. It might have come in late 2012 then...

Get the CATCON cleaned. It will resolve the problem. Which city are you located ?

That is not possible. You must be mistaken or your car must be altered in a certain way.

we're not here to argue. i know it is there as i got it removed bcz of the same problem. I'm trying to help the guy as i have already suffered with the same problem so plz don't confuse him and let him get his car fixed. i'll be really obliged. thank u

It's not there in 2011 model. Period. Rest, you can figure out how it came in your car.
I am also here to help. If he knows his car model then knowing this might help him.

I think diagnostics should start from cheaper solutions and then go to expensive ones if problem still persists. First one should be plugs,filters and carb cleaning etc. Second should be compression test to see if engine is healthy then clutch etc . I would test car after every step and then go to next step if problem persisits.

I have seen plenty of these key board warriors. I am sure he's a 10 year old over enthusiastic kid expressing his love for cars.
From where i see it, his basics are at fault.
