@cow(rolla fan)give me some facts to back ur statement....!!! some solid facts...nd dnt say cowrolla has better shapes,better colors nd better interior,bcuz these depends on every indivisuals taste...am i right guys? one of my friend hates biege interiors nd loves the black/grey interior...similarly sone ppl think rolla's shape is more like a fat cow,while city is much better...so dont talk about it...just give me facts about solid things which cant be denied...abs,price difference, ride quality,fuel economy,technology,performance.... these r the things which r the determining factors...so talk about them...

^^^^sir u need to calm down.....i have read what u have written......but i think u need to read all the 35 pages again cuz its not only me who is sayin that City is better than Xli but there r many others too......firstly,read the topic & its details again......secondly,i have compared both cars with facts & from personal xperience & Xli is NOT AT ALL BETTER than city.......u also need to show from ur comments that u r a mature guy
ok let me tell u what u think is better in city and i will prove it corolla is offering some thing better... first lets come to engine honda is giving us sohc engine which is about 40 years old tech while toyota is providing us dohc engine which is a recent tech and use by some of the best company in the world and every 1 know dohc engine is far better in every way . lets come to body wise honda is offering g-con body while toyota is offering goa body which even got an award and is consider best in the world. reliablity and durability handdown corolla no doubt about it, maintaince cost of corolla is cheap while honda maintaince is expansive, resale value handdown corolla, interior and exterior wise corolla i thick 95 out 100 like corolla exterior then city(most of them are stuck with city). lets come to even xli no abs right!! while u dont need abs in pakistan the system is design for slippery roads and in pakistan its hot as hell. if some1 say abs stop the car in short distance think again its not abs its brake assist which come with abs which stop the car in shorter distance if ur girly feet cant push the paddle hard in panic but it can also be solve installing emergency braking assist available in market and can be install in the car without abs, but remember if ur a good driver u dont need abs system. now come to speed i know city is slight faster then corolla cuz honda make lighter engines lighter cars, as u gain speed the comfortability of city is compromised while corolla is smooth drive all the way... now there is no point in the favour of city as compare to corolla that is why corolla is selling even four times then city(even tho honda reduce the price for more then 1.5 lakh)....

Sir firstly,u said that City's engine is not better...its better cuz we r getting both Better Fuel economy & better performance ad per Dohc is concerned i am not bothered abt it as far as i m getting better drive....secondly,u said that city starts becomin uncomfortable @ higher speeds....i say NO cuz it stays calm atleast not worse than Xli,thirdly,u said that brake assist stops the car....we r talkin abt STOCK cars and city is offering brake assist with ABS from the factory otherwise we can also install aftermarket products in City to make it better....as far as "Good Driver" is concerned....this is Pakistan u dont know when u have to apply Brakes even on Motorway an animal can cme in front of u & u have apply brakes this is where both Brake assist & ABS helps in order to turn the car suddenly without slipping cuz u cant stop the car at 120km/h so quickly.....still Honda is offering City for 1202k which is 30k cheaper than Xli that doesnot even have power windows....hope u understand

dohc wo company banati ha jo good companys hoti ha and adobt recent. is tara tumara gar ma colour tv ha ma ka is ka ya matlab samju ka tum na black and white tv sa har mal he even tho black and white tv is better then colour. dont talk nonsence. ma na bataya honda make lighter car that why the car is slight faster read simple physics yar ... at the same time city doesnt have smooth drive at high speed while corolla has. + if u live in a city speed is the least consern for u.. cuz busy roads all the time. if you want speedy cars ur looking in wrong catagory cuz city and corolla in not design as speed cars. then go for 2nd civic for proton gen2 or rx8 or some cars like that
i put out like 7 to 8 points and out of those u can only challenge 3 which u think is better ok lets see those 3 point u have put up(it means in other point u also agree in favour of corolla)
xli fuel economy is like 15-16km/l
while city is 16-17km/l i think u cant say better its more like almost same...better drive please no way city has better drive the corolla... if an animal come suddenly then abs barkes also fail. but if its on a little distance disk brake can also stop the car before hit.. with and without abs barkes there is only differnece of 1-2 feet....so totally failed in pakistan. i told u the system works only on slippery road, in those country where its rains alot or snow...not design for country like pakistan...as for aftermarket product i think u cant put limits on other to buy or not. with 12k addition u can put power windows and central locking... and u will end up in car which is far better then city in every way... hope u understand.....
