Xli & CITY.......Comparison

actually i was thoroughly goin through the 4 models i.e Honda City 08,Toyota gli 08(old shape),Honda city09,Toyota gli 09(new shape) & i have noticed that Honda adopted Toyota's things whereas Toyota adopted Honda's things........the things includes the followin:

1) In City 08 there were 2 dashboards Whereas gli08 had single dashboard........now city 09 has one whereas gli09 has two

2) In city 08 the back speakers were on the upper side of the trunk whereas gli08 had speakers on back doors.........now on city09 there are speakers on back doors but on Gli09 there are speakers on the top of the trunk/Dicky

3)the city08 had combination of silver & beige whereas gli08 had combination of black & beige now gli09 has combination of silver & beige

dear i found gli in all ways better than city and having no comparison with city..

1. shape of city can be compare with liana

2. xli and gli's shape similiar to camry.nd most of people call mini camry

3. as its shape is like camry, its road grip is much much better than city

4. performance of petrol, it secure 550km local in lahore in one tank

5. ABS is much better

so there is alot of reason so how everybody specially like u can say city is better??????

2. xli and gli's shape similiar to camry.nd most of people call mini camry....its not a HA good thing bro they r producing to many models with same shape n do whatever with ur MINI CAMRY it will be always a ROLLA... peace,,

3. as its shape is like camry, its road grip is much much better than city... hahaha bro believe me itx been like 3-4 yrs on pakwheels n i havnt seen such a funniest post on this site...... I ALSO HAVE N ROLA 95 SHAPE N I THINK ITS SIMILAR TO BUGATI THATS WHY ITS THE FASTEST CAR ON THE EARTH.... i havnt got any other example to show ur opinion...

as far as braking is concerned all of us knows who is better in braking thingy

just be realistic compare the cars on some merits like perfrmence, handling n all hat things which others have been discused .... i wont call it comparing that if my face resembles to shahid afridi than i m a good crickter lols.....

^^^awsum reply.....u stole my words....well for comparin on merits thing.... both cars have already being compared & the result is in front of u that city is better but as waleed_khushi said earlier that these r COROLLAs diehard fan so they will never accept it
@ahsansunnypk bhai i always said that city is better than XLI.....in case of GLI it much depends on the preferences as both cars are equipped with same features....,GLI is better for family car cuz its bigger in dimensions & has more space than city.....but if u want performance & aggressive looks than gli is nowhere near CITY 09....if u ask y then thats because firstly the structure of GLI is same as ALTIS which is 1.8l but GLI is 1.3l with same body which makes it more heavier for engine....secondly,city's engine is faster than GLI which makes it better in terms of performance....hope u understand now

aahh really , mini camry LMAO , toyota is in habit of making all cars similar in shape now , doe new lc is known hai dad of camry ? huh :S

ohh now road grip depend on camry like ship ? dude u have to learn alot then show off here , have u ever driven xli nd city ? city has way better road grip

for ur kind information rolla is now bad on fuel ,worst fuel average then city ,

city engine is way better then rolla nd also faster

5. ABS is much better

my lovely brother city mai b abs hai but xli mai nhi or gli mai hai huh :S study before u compare something

so there is alot of reason so how everybody specially like u can say city is better??????

n yeah one thing more, city again lacking in the structure.. side pillars are wide again jis ki waja say u became blind at some points iss liey not having abs is not a big issue whereas wide side pillars are really very dangerous!!

n u shud be ashamed of ur "better looking" gli, the 1.3 i-vtec will litrly eff ur gli in a drag race, in the long run and on a busy road! the new city takes 11 sec to reach 100 and wat does ur gli take? 14 sec!!!!
or agar city rape hui hui lgti hai then certainly rolla luks pregnant n 2 months over due

u sit in a city u c smthng different, u sit in a civic u c smthng different, but if u sit in a gli or altis, its all the same, theres no variety, just the same dull interior, now i dnt knw wat to say, gli ka standard up hai ya altis ka standard down :S
