By 130k I meant differential between Xli and gli. City I told you being in higher tax bracket plus the fact that Honda engine are not designed to take harsh bearing and still be useful.

driving pleasure my arse....its a horrible car. the seat feel like a god damn park bench and suspension so hard your testicles go straight up and down till it hurts like a kamakazi hit you.

Leaving aside the cars, driving experience etc.
Honda is the worst as far as their customer care services and after sale response is concerned. I'm Honda user myself, but I have a lot of praises for Indus Motors (Toyota). They would always respond. Although, even if u r not their customer. Honda has provided a WRONG Email address on their website. Their customer service number is never picked up. There is no way u can launch a Complaint. Dealership guys are helpless and useless too. I found a sever lack of competency as far as their skills and knowledge is concerned. (I don't know about Toyota guys as I have no personal experience with them).
I have put this on forum here so that people should be aware of facts.

Well last year with full load on my corolla 1.3 (08 model) I climbed from Abbotabad to Murree via Nathia gali.

Let me tell you that till around 70% of the length, I was just using 1-2 gears. The climb is very bad.

I had stopped in Nathia gali and I was asking around for a mechanic that I was asked what the problem was. I told him that there may be a problem with my clutch as I had a hard time climbing, and I was told that this was normal as the ascent was quite bad.

i think you need to drive a corolla first or at least sit in it for that matter

Corolla any day, any variant is far more comfortable than any honda

as for being underpowered; Mister, it is the most sold sedan on this planet called earth, the 1.29 liter toyota engine is far too adequate to drag its body

comparing it with FAW or Swift means you just need to learn a little bit more about cars

Personally speaking, i feel you can only compare city with a mehran when it comes to back seat comfort, honda city has a better handling, good for the driver but no where near the comfort of a corolla

secondly city lacks the show off value, corolla is the car for big events in Pakistan, city khareedo gay tou her shadi per gari rent per lou gay. barat hamesha COROLLA per Jati hay, yani city choti gari hay aur corolla bari... lol

O meray bhai... corolla kaa 1.3 version pooree dunyaa main band ho chukaa hai....aap check karr saktay hain......yeh sirf pakistan kay logon kaa paagalpan hai kai yeh abhee takk pakistan mai bik rahaa hai.....auur yeh batein main bohat research kai baad aap say karr rahaa hoon.....meray khayaal sai agar ferrari per agar mehran kaa engine lagaa do gay naa toh woh ferrari nahee bann jaye gee.....

By the way going to murree is not a problem for most cars (the old route) Even on the expressway, you can go for 2-3 gears.

Problem is in getting down to abbotabad from murree through Nathia gali, or climbing from Abbotabad to Murree via Nathia gali (its very bad)

Then problem comes when going from Balakot to Naran.

Again from Naran to Lake Lulusar, the car has problem in pick especially through valleys where you are closely surrounded by both sides with mountains. But I have checked now and seen that this happens to all the new cars also.

One thing that you all failed to mention No ABS or brake assist in Xli. Such an important safety feature

Go for city as xli lacks many features. If you want better mileage then buy city 1.3.

Moreover xli will feel a bit underpowered.
