m about to buy a car gli or xli 2010-2011 model but heard that abs doesnt matter in corolla even if u install a plane brakes in corolla it will still slip so need suggestion should i go for xli or gli

Sir ABS does work and specially in emergency situations you can move your wheels, in wet condition it works better than non abs car do. Its a life saver don't risk your life just for few amount of money.

yes bro i have experience it if u brake in XLi its not stable as u brake in emergency and the car staring will go out of control while in Gli its stable and wheel wont drift while brake

Brakes of XLi are fine but in emergency braking situation ABS makes hell of a difference and can avoid a potential mishap.

ABS makes difference. Check brake pads. Check the car before purchasing. GLI automatic is better option.

GLI is good choice.

Go for GLI. Better features. In emergency situations ABS brakes make difference. Rumor is that XLI may be abandoned by Indus in near future.

You should go for Gli 1.6 automatic...
As for ABS is concerned...xli doesn't come with ABS, while Gli has an ABS brakes...and ABS makes a very big difference especially on slipery road and moving your steering while brakes are applies...ABS won't skid from the road..will remain in the path which you want it to be...
By the way Honda has very good AbS than corolla...just saying

Brother i have used both xli and gli. Gli is way better in term of brakes than xli. Abs is designed to prevent skidding, and helps u to maintain steering control during maximal braking efforts.
Go for Gli...
