Xxx-6500D.. Soundstream!?!

went to sum audio shops to buy sum stuff for a frnd again :S.. saw a monstorous amp .. it was a Soundstream Xxx 6500D.. wid sum gud options..
1 ohm stable
bass remote
D class mono
6500wrms @ 1ohm (atleast wat the brand says)
so i was thinkin to buy it myself but was outta cash at that tym.. n thought bfor buyin y not hav sum reviews on it..
but em confused y the shopkeeper was sayin its a 1000rms amp but the company claims it to be around 3400wrms @4ohm , 4800wrms @ 2ohms n 6500wrms @1ohm..???
i know shopkeepers know jackshit but still its alot a diff..
n he asked me around 18k only.. now thats where m really confused.. if its a 1000rms amp then around 18k is a normal price to ask but for 6500rms .. its way doubtful.. wat do u guys say... em screwed thinkin :S:S

and this one is 6500 watts RMS @ 1 ohms!!!!

i think there is no existance of 6500watts rms
just they print to attract customers
btw
this is made in china
so be very careful when u spend money for these so called big brands
almost every electronic product is now made in china
which means price may be quite less

no existance of 6500wrms.. :S bro i can show u a real 26,200wrms amp.. i doubt if its made in china coz xxx series is an american series of soundstream.. n its not even shipped by them... sum of the private parties xport em from america to other countries.. neways it duznt matter if its made in china, i dun see ne probs if china is makin them ..
newyas i'll inform u guys bout the real deal.. as i my self cant wait to discover it... n if it is the real thing.. may b i'll buy myself a couple of these

run a 50hz sine wave on it
using multi meter, measure the voltage, with woofer connected to see how it performs under load.
u should be able to find the RMS.

well guyz the problem is solved... i called him today after coming home from my job... he told me that its not a 1000w amp but now it bcame a 2000w amp..ehe.. he definitly dont know about the amp n its an original 1...n now he's askin 22000 for it as he came to know its a 2000w but will giv me at the same price he offered me bfore so i guess these will b my next amp... em xcited bout it.. but bfor buyin it i'll definitly check the board in it.. if its the same 1 than i'll surely go wid a couple of these... thinkin bout buyin 2 of these .. lets hope for the best..

@Redbull.. yes i was thinkin the same but i dont think he or neither do i hav the multi meter but i'll get a glance at the board instead...

Make sure its the original one coz a lot of sound stream copies are floating in the market they look absolutely same as the original ones. you've to be carefull buying such products who knows if its even a 100RMS

so have you ever think about Alternator solution??
even it gives 3400Wrms
how will you get that power ?
