Yamaha Headlight Upgrade

Dear Members,

I own a Yamaha YBR 125 G. I wanted to know if anyone has replaced the stock headlight bulb with a good HID kit in Islamabad/Rawalpindi. I am into long night drives and the stock light really fails when you go offroad. If someone has installed it, please advise me which brand to go for and from where to buy it. I am interested in 55W - 752 Projector based HID. My budget is around 3-4k for this. I will be leaving for a trip to Naran this thursday and will be travelling at night. It will be really helpful if I can get the upgrade before that.

I was also thinking about extra projector lights but i dont know if they make any different. If someone has installed them and increases visibility considerably then please advise.

P.S. Please dont start advice on how HID blinds incoming traffic. I am fully aware of that and I know how to limit to "low beam" in city. Furthermore, please also dont post stuff like travelling is dangerous at night. I go regularly so i know how it is.

Why not go for led bulb ? I had one in my ybr and the vision was more then enough.

LEDs give good results when light is to be used as a beam (e.g. Flood lights, lasers etc) but when the light source needs to disperse the light in all direction LEDs dont give good results. Best results would always be attaned from HID or the simple Halogen bulbs

I had it some months ago, removed it as the fan stopped working, i did buy a cheap one though online.

Was the light considerable brighter ?

I am going for Canbus 75W HID . Hopefully it will have good results.

Yes it was bright and beam went quite far away on the road. It would still be less bright compared to 75 watt hid though.

Samny waly ko andha kro gy fake prjectors se
real projector hi sirf 10 - 15 hazar ka hota hy minimum with sharp cut off
sharp cut off ky bagair koi projector, projector nhe hota.

Actually people dont even know how Light Magnification works what factors are involved, they just find ways to blind people.

yes, exactly. and most of people now a days are using cheap leds
