finally i saw sanity here on this thread.. after many brawls and brags by honda fan/ wana be yama fans and mods warnings
this shouldnt be more then 100k
for 1: honda 125 is already extremely overly priced bike.. because it has seen no competition and has always increased its prices.. unlike their 70 .. 70 price is controled by cHondas... otherwise only 70 would be above 1 lac..
2: if a chonda 70 is for 40-45k this cause 20-25 k differnce against brand honda ... we all know that good chondas are at leat 80-90k % equivalent of honda .. so going by this judgement a chonda 125 shouldnt be more then 65-75k .. after all both 70 and 124 requires almost same number of components only differnce is minor size increase .. which shouldnt put its price such high.. ... but above 25-30k gap should be due to taxes...
3: going by the above logics yamaha shouldnt ride on the base price of honda and consider itself above Honda after all honda is the biggest small engine manafacturer in the world .. a fact..
4: yamaha should give prices lower then honda as new entrant in this overly saturated biking market to get a good start and set a bench mark. because yamaha doesnt have that much setup for these to be launched bikes that honda has for whatever they laucnh. even honda 100 was a bit different breed then 70 and people struggled with finding its parts for initial few year of it.. even now its parts are not readily available at remote places easily
5: also see below pic (taken from original link in first post of this tread.) .. eff ka kah ka carboratorrrrrrr engnie da dia ha..
just read the statement of President Yamah Motors // so it seems yama has made a fool of us..
President Yamaha Motors said their company would bring advanced technology to Pakistan where initially 22,000 motorcycles of 125-150 cc, per year, would be manufactured
in the factory with EFI engines and during the next ten years its production would reach to 750,000.

@ALL
you have the right to differ from my above opinions.. but be realistic ..
