Imo it is not a useless ad. Only few people know about this thread, rest of the nation don't even know about the presence of Yamaha. Yamaha just started Reving our hearts. A good marketing tactic.

People who don't understand the advert, this is just a hint for people, to let them know that "YAMAHA IS HERE". Initial advertisement never lets people know about the products, when it comes to automobile. After a few weeks/months, you might see a couple of bikes, but that too when they have finished launching that product physically.

You are not considering the fact that Yamaha fanboys will buy yamaha irrespective of pricing.I currently own Honda but i am looking forward to buy a YAMA when new models are launched.Quality comes with price.Those who cannot afford should continue buying chondas.ANd yes Honda will face competition as their bikes are more expensive than their worth.

We do need a high quality cost effective value for money kinda major competitor to knock some sense into Honda's thick head and I truly hope yamaha does that.

Atlas Honda is bike segment. Honda Atlas is car segment.

Price sensitive segment is not buying Honda CD-70(their market is very low when it comes to 70s) at all.They are onto cHondas.I am talking about those peeps who own 100cc+ displacement bikes.It can easily affect the market of Deluxe/GS-150/CG/Piaggio.Pricing should be competitive as it is a consumer's top priority.

we should keep in mind that the price of upcoming Yamaha bikes are going to b for earth not for heaven. so expect positive and competitive pricing according to features and models.

yeah right we should never expect it to be lower than atlas honda prices
as they are going to launch new bikes with new engines & latest tech

so if we expect them to be same price as cg its not possible however if they
are very comparative to cg or deluxe than it an great blessing for us now
lets wait and see "MAY" is not far

With new launch model of gd110 with faring alloys and self start.
It has almost made slow sale of cd70 even though it,s 122k.
It also effected cg125 sales.
Now i see more gd110 than new cd70.
