I was a fanboy of honda bikes.
Driving cd70 since 2007.
But no more.
Waiting for yamaha products after that will select either from gd110su or ybr---

Yamaha junoon was the only bike that made me think something else than honda bikes.
But unfortunately dyl raped that bike.

With new launch model of gd110 with faring alloys and self start.
It has almost made slow sale of cd70 even though it,s 122k.
It also effected cg125 sales.
Now i see more gd110 than new cd70.

How can a person who's buying CD70 would go for a GD110 ? is he not on budget.

I think suzuki is selling bikes at instalments with zero interest.
That boosted there sales too and made them come in budget.

Yamaha would require much better product than Honda at much lower price than Honda to beat Honda !

there are 4 categories of bikes in pakistan, 70cc, 100cc, 125cc and 150cc
150cc is held by Suzuki only, all honda produced in this section are rumors.
100cc honda never held this market, previously it was owned by Yamaha and now Suzuki have it, gd110 is doing best in this section.
70cc honda was doing gr8 but their pricing gave a big chance to chondas to earn this market and they did, now chondas are everywhere and cd70 sales are getting worse.
125cc this is the only market honda still owns, only because of cg, deluxe is just an expensive crap, Piaggio and Gs150 has already taken a few of their customers and Yamaha will take most of the remaining no matter what because its not just a random company its YAMAHA they have fans.
so Honda is in huge trouble, sooner or later they will have to update their whole lineup otherwise goodbye to Expensive Crap Atlas so called Honda.

I think same also.. honda will still set in his cave and watch the yamaha response then will react accordingly, but let's see. I m expecting very positive response from Yamaha to beat Honda because everyone know about dyl quality. The bike which still in people's mind is honda despite of low quality as compare to past. FOR success, yamaha must plan good marketing strategies by keeping tough points in mind such as consumer demand, their budget, quality and last but definitely not least is after sale service network....
Honestly speaking, price is where they have to compromise with their profit but not with quality!!!

Because gasoline rates have gone down so much, YAMAHA should seriously consider to launch some higher displacement bikes too.

YAMAHA hired once again the old staff.Mr. Javed Yakoob GM Sales, Mr. Shamim Siddiqui GM Quality Assurance have gone under contract once again with them ** @naveed4speed I'm their dealer still in the documents, and its quite obvious YAMAHA will entertain old dealers because they will do the professional activities in a better way, they have links and abilities to satisfy a customer and make his mind of buying the product. So I think Yamaha should launch their official site and their should be poll system how people want the bike.voting system should be there. Affordable price tag, after services, spares, claim policies should be friendly.they aren't new so they haven't do much strugling for success as they have customer's faith.GOOD LUCK YAMAHA
