Asalamoalaiqum. Can anyone help me in procuring head gasket for Yamaha v-max 1200 96-98 model (from Pakistan, if anyone knows that someone has it with him?) not available on aliexpress.

I was wondering if you have explored the idea of having one made. You may be surprised at the skill locally available in the area of making head gaskets.

thanks, yes i did kept that option in mind but one of my friend who's very good at such mechanical skills, has not shared good reviews as it does not work well. we got one made for another bike but the bike heats up after 15 , 20 mins and engine shuts down. i am getting gasket from usa but it will be delivered to canada and then someone will bring it to Pakistan, plus its costing me much

Certainly there is nothing better than an original part. I just suggested local option as a last, last, last option.

Yes, getting parts from overseas is very very expensive with postage and custom. If someone can hand carry it, that is the best option.

Just another suggestion, if you have quite a few items, get them delivered to Dubai. And ask someone coming here to hand carry. Then take them for an expensive dinner
