I am using meguin racing 4T 10w-40. Engine is butter smooth specially gear shifting but I am not satisfied with this oil too. Its price is 700/-. Planning to change back to Yamalube or Total.

And yes you are true about Yamalube. Yamalube definitely have a low flash point so oil started vaporate at certain temperature that's why you feel it less. I guess total is better 10w-40 high perf 4T sport+

Last time jab oil change kr rha tha to shaq hua k yamalube orignal nhi ha. Bottle k end pa kuch suspended impurities thein.

Meguin is working better so far me but it supports Diesel engine too that's why I am bit concious to replace it and Naeem also suggested to stick with Yamalube.

1 dfa maine b yamaha lube ki bottle mai impurities dekhe hyn or vo oil maine usi waqt change kr dea tha. May b fake oil market mai ho? But current yamaha lube maine 900 k.m chlaya hy or iski jan nikal gae hy yamaha 800 se zyada nahi chalta.

Yamalube overall ek thaka hua mineral oil hy upper sy bohat ziyada thick which is absolutely not good in winter. Here it's one litre bottle is available in 400 from distributor and original.

So far I am pretty much sure to next oil change to replace with Total. This is semi synthetic and I am sure it will help in gear shifting as well as starting in cold days. It's available here in 500 from distributor however in total price list its price is 530. So many ppl are using this oil and no one complaining. It's imported from Singapore as per distributor comments. Yamalube is getting packed locally somewhere near Karachi

I ll suggest u to stick with yamaha lube just change this oil at 800 k.m. 1 thing more i have seen u r too much concern about ur bike so was i just give ur bike a bit time it will perform well. Too much care or experiments will ruin ur bike. I have tried liquimoli but that oil is not suitable for yamaha in my opinion.

M also surprized too see the recomended grade for ybz by yamaha which 20w50 m also reading ur comments abt oil and want to switch to a better brand. 20w 50 is recomended brand and we should use this grade. Lowers grades will produce more noise. Only prblm in witer is we have to give more time in morning startup to achieve working temperature.

Liqui moly bhi over priced hy and not that type of oil which we required....

We require shell advance ultra oil which is available in India but as usual we live in Pakistan so we don't deserve a good product. Here shell is selling poor old grade oil for bikes.

I will stick with yamaha in summer but in winter I need quick start and smooth gear shifting.

Well you can see the chart given in manual. 20w-50 is not recommended by the way. We can use 10w-40 too if we want too. This engine is not going anywhere with 10w-40.

Grade is 10w-40 semi synthetic api SL and JASO MA 2 rated

Air cooled engine oil performs better if we use api SM and JASO MA2 but SM not available here

Did you see the chart given in manual brother? It doesn't mean that we should stick with 20w-50 and if it is so then why yamaha showed us a chart with temperature?

Yes malik atiq maine b Europe k user manual dekhe hyn ybr k or waha kahi b 20w 50 grade recmnd nahi. But yaha ki garmi or waha k musam mai bht frq hy. Pr phir b 20w50 is too thick. But 1 bat or bta do mere frnd 2 sal se ybr mai 20w50 grade use kr rhy hyn koi issue nahi abi tk.
