Thanks for your suggestion. I made my bike little upset by trying different mechanics for tappet and carb settings and finally restored it by sharif autos. Since I got those ideal carb settings, I thought it might be good attempt to give a try to Yamalube to achieve 120 but it was again a useless attempt as I noticed that gear shifting again became hard specially when it comes to bring the bike in nuetral. Top speed is still 110 but I do not drive much and I don't think that someone can achieve 120 in 5km patch. It must have to travel some distance as well as engine needs to heat up a bit before hitting 120.

SHELL AX3 is better than Yamalube but AX 5 is more premium. However, both oil are mineral. AX 5 will be my last attempt if I found the same grade 20w-50 or I might try 20w-40.

Be realistic and do some math with gear ratios you would not be able to get 120km/h without redlining the engine above 10k RPM.
All those video's of doing 120 or 120+ are fake. Usually that has been done downhill or there is some serious meter error in that bike. I hope you understood my point.

You're true but I was trying different settings to achieve maximum performance. However, I will sell my bike soon as I need to move abroad and inshallah will buy 150cc gixer or yamaha in future.

I'm new member of Pakwheeler and I got yamaha YBZ 125.
I saw pics of tail rack/ carrier for YBZ and they got from Dar Autos Jehlum. I want to ask if anyone Installed this from Lahore please come forward to help.
I've tried Saboor traders and Afzal traders but no luck.

I don't know exact primary reduction and final drive ratio(they might be different in YBZ i got these from international forums) but this is how this bike should perform in reality. And yes bike can clock 120kmph only if you are able to get it upto 10k RPM.
But also keep the HP factor and other factors in view the bike only makes 10.6HP in Pakistan. According to some international forums it makes only 9.9HP.

Its Waqar Azeem here. I have recently bought YBZ from Khurram Autos. Bike was performing well till 500 km when i changed my 1st oil i.e YAMALUBE from QADIR autos in my area. Now the issue is that i am feeling some extra sound, i think from head of engine, my internal feeling is that its coming from piston of bike but Qadir autos and Khurram autos Technicians are saying that its tappet noise and will vanish with passage of time.. I have driven my YBZ with full care till 500 but now i'm taking it to a max speed of 80-90, is this harmful for engine...???

No it's not harmful. Go for tuning at 1000km and there you will be out of tappet noise. Don't let them touch your carb and better if you do not exceed 80 before 1000. Early tappet noise is caused by excessive use of throttle so try to keep it low a little.

Thanks for guidance. I also hope that its tappet noise only and no other harm with engine. From your previous post you look to be quite satisfied from Khurram Autos Technician. Mine experience with them is not well yet. Is there any good Experienced One in Lahore near Abid Market Lahore...???

tapets noice hy koi preshani ki bat nahi but keep in mind 1 thing if tapet adjusment full thandy engine pe krana i mean full cool engine iska mtlb hy 02 03 gnty bike use na ho tapet adjusment se phle otherwise acurate setting nahi aati.
mai apne bike k tapet khdu adjust keay hyn pr sari rat bike park raha or subah uth k tapet adjust keay but i suggest u to go to a good experiecned mecehnic of YAMAHA and ask him to adjust tapet.

Where are you from in Lahore...???? I just want it to be checked by some Experienced person before going to any Yamaha Service Center. Is there any possibility for a short meet up in Lahore...???

Bhai all yamaha mechanics are jerk in lahore including Kamran. I am only satisfied with Khurram at new sharif autos mcload road and they are quality care also. You can claim anything faulty there and they are the quickest to give you replacement of faulty parts.
