Hey guys its not much time left to the launch of a new motorcycle from Yamaha named yb125z. Many may be aware of it although still its not confirmed by company nor they will as companies hide any new launch but information has been leaked from quite alot of time rather when Yamaha was first time entering in Pakistan yb125z was spotted in some pictures. Confirmed launch month as par leaked info is April.
Yamaha ybz is completely different shape wise compare to ybr, which has complete sport feel with big tank & sporty riding position for rider & pillion. while ybz looks very decent motorcycle with round headlight flat seat riding position and shape wise looks small as no big sport tank with air scopes here in ybz. Although ybr is street motorcycle as well but people here in Pakistan find it too big as people are not use to of these kinda motorcycles so complain with its big size is there by users but when we look at ybz i think there should not be any such issue with ybz atleast shape wise. It looks pretty practical motorcycle but hopefully Yamaha Pakistan does some changes to its fenders as they does not look good to stop dirt efficiently so hopefully they don't launch exact same must do some thing about it.
Yamaha ybz is having same engine as ybr 5 gear OHC engine with sporty shift pattern gearbox. First talking of gearbox, this did feel awkward to people here but it has not troubled seriously to owners they very fast adjust to it. This engine is no doubt very smooth with minimal vibrations but it has failed to impress with its power in ybr and owners have this complain lack of power in bike which actually has resulted in serious frustration for ybr owner & sales. People loved its shape but performance does not justify the shape of motorcycle. Hopefully Hopefully Yamaha does some tweak to engine this time so that it can match performance of cg125 ohv engine as for bikers here engine performance is very important. Yamaha Pakistan is launching this motorcycle as direct competitor to very popular cg125 and price of ybz is expected around 110k.
