Yaris 2022 1.5 Ativ CVT won't start

My Yaris 2022 Ativ 1.5 CVT, which I've been driving since February (less than 700 kilometres), decided not to start this morning. The engine light came on, but I'm not sure what the issue is. When I try to start it, it makes a sound like something cranking, but it's not loud, and it happens every time I start it. Also, all electronics are functioning AFAIK. Also, A/C is fine too.

I drove it without issue for about fiftteen kilometres yesterday and pretty much daily for few kilometers.

Yes. Meter showing ~50 KM worth of fuel. Also, low fuel light is correctly off.

i'd recommend add 10 liters of fuel into tank and then try to start., please

Yes, I have put in the fuel too. It's like 200KM or so showing now. Still same problem.

time to call up 3S workshop with an scanner to pay you visit and run diagnostics under warranty.
I assume vehicle is under warranty use a recovery vehicle to transport to workshop if necessary

A weak cranking sound could be a sign of discharged battery. Can you try recharging the battery if you have one at home, or try jump-starting with another battery?

same issue 4800km done
and this mornning suddenly similar kind of sound occur when I start the car I immediately unplug the battery and tried another one and it starts
I also took the battery to nearby workshop for inspection the mechanic told me that battery cells are weak it's a very small amp bettery they are providing with Yaris
either use jump start technique or go to battery shop they'll charge it but also recommend you to upgrade your battery.

That will further isolate the issue if it is only a bad battery. If the battery is bad again the vehicle is under warranty and Toyota dealership shall replace it FOC under warranty.

Toyota technician arrived and determined that the problem was a battery issue that needed to be replaced. He said it's a common problem with his Yaris. They charged the battery, and then I took the car to their service centre, where the battery was replaced. In the service centre, I met another person who had a similar problem with their Yaris and had the battery replaced. I never received a root cause from Toyota, only a generic it's a cell fault, so the battery needs to be replaced.

Toyota, by the way, was hesitant to honour their warranty and told me that battery issues could be caused by poor maintenance, which makes no sense given that it is a brand new car that has been well maintained.

I talked to a guy at dealership and they told me that this issue was common with FB Batteries but now Toyota has started giving AGS batteries and still around 2 cars had this issue and their car batteries are also replaced in warranty so it seems either the battery they are providing is small and could not keep up with the electronics installed or there's something else
