Yaris GLI MT vs Yaris GLI CVT (Need Sincere Advice)

I am on a stage of finalizing Yaris varient...i am interested in yaris gli cvt...but no idea about its fuel average....my maximum usage will be on motorway u can say long routes...users & owners plz guide

Cvt is very smooth and fuel economy is very good as compare to conventional auto... Still it can't beat the Manual in term of accelerations and fuel economy but the difference is just not that much very minor.... Go fr Cvt it's hassle free from all the traffic v have now that's pain in as*

Go with manual.

As CVT and needs specialized procedure just to change oil. And forget overtaking other cars with the CVT one.

If I keep up with the traffic and do not accelerate it unnecessarily, it would give around 13 with full AC. and if I overtake some cars and use accelerator to attain speeds wherever there is space then only 9-10km.

Having owned corolla too, I would suggest go for corolla if you can stretch your budget, or get 2020,2019 model used one(gli auto,altis1.6 both are very good for highway commutes), its far more quality build than yaris, and not to mention yaris suspension feels like honda. You would feel every bump inside. Even yaris's engine noise is too much, maybe because of cvt I notice that.

I am sure you will not regret that decision after taking a drive in Yaris especially CVT one.

u mean cvt cars cannot overtake, r u talking about rubber band effect
