Yaris or City. Which is the good option? Need suggestions

Yaris has not hit the roads in pakistan yet and you are already saying it is not good?.
I think you should not make assumptions and especially misguide someone. You may have a lot of common sense but please leave that with yourself and let the member decide for themself.
I just loathe people like you who have no respect for others opinions and have to make it your mission to force your opinion on someone else.
Yaris is a new vehicle and it gives others a choice which i feel is NOT outdated and more appealing.

I have seen two Yaris standing at the Total Pump near the Bin Qasim area, Karachi. They looked decent. They were in silver color with a black contrast of black, which said, ”Yairs is here!”

Ativ variants are equipped with CVT-i, which makes the Yairs much more fuel-efficient and powerful than the City of Pak.

If I had a choice to choose between the two, I'd definitely go for Yaris without a second thought. Also, City has zero airbags, it kinda kills your confidence in driving at higher speeds.

City will be replaced soon enough, as Honda Atlas has imported a CBU from Thailand and is testing it, I believe it is the 6th gen of City they are bringing to Pak and not the latest 7th gen. All and all, Pak will still be getting a generation behind City.

I don't think it's a valid comparison brother.

Yaris is a CVT, bigger and wider in size, has modern safety features, airbags, traction control, Toyota's comfortable suspension, climate control etc.

Current PKDM City shouldn't be compared to it. It's a very old generation, no modern features, stripped out all of them. Hard suspension (but some prefer it too).

When Honda launches the next City, that will be the right competition.

But if you want to wait 2-3 years, sure. If you want to purchase now or in next 1-2 years, the choice should be Yaris.

go for yaris it has better transmission better safety features i.e dual air bags and stability control. Moreover its is also slightly bigger car than city. Also comes with push start and climate control.
