Yaris or City. Which is the good option? Need suggestions

Hi All,

I am planning to buy new car. My original idea was to go for City (due to its compact size and limited space in my porch) but since Yaris has been introduced. I am bit confused since Yaris performance/feedback is not available. So looking for expert opinion from the car physiology gurus please JazakAllah

you dont care about looks, performance and poor stability, roadgrip then you can go for yaris

Looks is a subjective matter.
No one is going to buy it as a race car. 11 second ki bajaye 12 second mein bhi 100 pe chali jaye gi to koi qayamat nahin aa jaye gi.
Poor stability ke liye they have given vehicle stability control and traction control from base line variant.
Or drivefeel to mujhe samajh hi nahin aayi ke konsi hai city mein

Laikin laikin
You forgot to mention the same classy suspension of Corolla that is there in Yaris. Same comfort level
You forgot to mention push start, smart entry, dual airbag, mid display.

Go for Yaris
Yaris got good features even in their base model and moreover as per news Honda is planning for next gen so buying new at this time would be suicidal at best.
By looks yes i would agree i like 11 year old shape more than yaris but still apart from looks there is no comfort in city due to hard suspension.
I always want an compact corolla as i like compact sedans too so now its there in form of yaris , i think its best option now.

City was a good car before the launch of Yaris. Now situation is different. However... Everybody has his own opinion

Yes. I'm talking about the same real experience. Let the Yaris be on roads. Have its first hand experience and then compare it to the City. No offence

On paper, it is a clear choice. Yaris is better than City. The problem is that we do not yet have any definitive feedback about Yaris. I'd suggest test driving both and then decide what to get.

Whenever a new version or model is launched always wait a year and let people try it and Then decide basing on people's on road experience

Thankyou guys for the postmortem of both cars
Some of the points that attract me to Yaris are: Air Bags (most important), suspension and CVT technology.
Although there are few drawbacks as well. like: Risky investment since it didn't hit the roads, No reviews available. But I think in Pak main sab chal jata hia
