Month before I had second chance of riding another YBR, with around 3K run-in. Previously one was also around the same mileage.
This second test ride does not only clears all he misconception in my mind but also surprised me with a great deal. The first ride was average for me.
At the start of this second ride I was expecting somewhat similar sort of experience. I was completely wrong. The first real impression was the pick. I am really serious here, writing down honestly that the pick was awesome and beyond my expectations. It was never less than a CGs pick (I know many do not believe as I myself in the past but now I have absolutely no doubt).
Like everyone else I immediately asked the owner, what alterations he has made. But there was no alterations all stock and verified myself, even air duct was in place. Simply wow.
The comfort has always been there, this time I experienced its jumps with small and deep potholes. I did not have the same comfort with any other bike even with GS-150. Suspensions really worked, instead of bike went with the potholes, much of the distance covered by the shocks giving a real nice pass-by.
Rest it was quiet pleasant ride with no shor sharaba, no vibrations.
In the end I would want to say that I was a big fan of Suzuki (I am an owner of Sprinter for 5 years now) but this last ride urges me to change that mindset.
I am still not sure why people are not happy with its engine. As per my last experience, the issue is not with the engine but heavily due to mechanic skills, they do not know how to tune this engine. One must tell them its not 70 or CG125.
