I almost read your entire thread of 45 pages and now im forced to comment. Masha ALLAH you have a beautiful car, what is more interesting in it for me is that i owned a Civic (97) (from Aug '05 till July '11) in the same color, it was like maroonish red, with NO paint touchups except for bumpers, entirely original, although with tiny scratches, and oh my it was beautiful. So i remembered my car watching the pics of your car, and i truly respect your love to the darling you have (i call my car my darling :))

The respect, love and care you have for your car is worth applause ! Just be safe and put the name of ALLAH in it (i think you have the card of Dua e Safar hanged). Also, whenever you park your car outside the house, take it to a market, parking, etc, write 'Ya Hafeez' on your ride before leaving it (from write i mean move you fingers that way) (Its what my mother told me to do)

My 1st post was for your red lady I must say that it was your car and specially your intense care and concern for your car that made me 'post' a 'post' on PW.

Unfortunately, i didn't ever do a photo session of the darling i had, but i have some pics, one of which I am sharing. I may also mention that the car was never treated with anything you and the detail masters of this forum do ! The bechari darling only went through regular service and car washes and occasional polish with the regular yellow 300 rupees polish available in the market. Though i have PMed vague_one aka Usman bhai, and i am starting to dive in this world of detailed car care. As a first, i tried to give a detailed cleaning job to the engine room of my car just today !

Did some friendly checks with R18(prosmatic) , neck to neck up till 120 & than R18 top end is better than L15, BUT If steermatic just launch a second before reborn, than its a run of life for R18 prosmatic.

Karachi is a great place I spend 1 1/2 yr in PECHS block 2 , near Tariq Road & road with show rooms(dont remember name :S) in 1995-96 , simply love the place, had some great evenings at alfala market & some great dinners at Noranii :P, also come across some real brilliant rides , anyway where ever you live , indeed it need extreme dedication & care to kept 5-6yr old car in this condition and yes you are rite weather is bit harsh on these rides in Karachi.

Thansk a lot of detail description on tints, Yar bus woo jab tint lagaty hooayy rubber beading kar saaath blade rakh kay chalatay hain tuu , lagta hay blade dil pay chal rahaa hayy , anyway sure , i will consider.

Thanks for your reply, PECHS Block 2 is a good safe area to live in, i must mention that you lived very near to the STATE BANK OF CARS in Karachi, Khalid Bin Waleed road and Islamia College road Sir i live in North Nazimabad in Karachi's central zone. Worst part is i m still unable to upload pics which i have already taken from my mobile (3.2 MP), something wrong with my USB port, hope i will resolve it and upload pics soon.
As far as the cutting blade procedure is concerned, not to worry Sir a good window tint professional will do the jon nicely and neatly without giving even a scratch to your rubber moldings

yes, its done on plaza market, do go to Hashmi Enterprise to inquire. This tinting is usually preferred by Prado, vigo, surf, harrier, cygnus etc etc.
