Ok Umer now come to your point , the shine you saw is not alone achieved by this wax ,today I just did a to up section of this Carnauba wax.

The under coat has great contribution behind this shine which Usman aka vague_one@PW (one of the best detailer in town did with red lady on friday night , I am quoting his own write out so every one will understand all the procedure.

All right, last night I came back from meetin the lady in red an immediately went plop on the bed.....write up was due.......so here we go....Juma time got a text from Aamir bhai that he had used mothers cleaner wax an then the mother synthetic wax for treating the lady in red but ............... somthing wasnt quite right........had a little chat with him an we decided to glaze the gal.......Aamir bhai was generous enough to leave the option on my head an well got off from office on the usual time, headed home for a change of uniform, the office attire is a killer with paint, buttons, belt buckle......yikes.....reached Aamirs bhai place with hyper milling mode......an the pataka went off on my head, Aamir is an accomplished detailer........an he had done what was in his scope to get the lady back its colour.....but so far the pollution an the dust had the stronger artillery......couple of Janoobi Afriki marlboros an local dunhills later I went back to the twin sister an brought out the rotary an pads an various surkhi podars for the lady.....show time!!!! Diluted the Turtle wax glaze, sprayed the whole car an wiped off with a clean mf........massaged a coat of Turtle Wax Ultra Gloss Platinum paste wax onto it with the rotary an the Meg finishing pad at 2k rpm.....wiped down the whole car once done an applied the Turtle Wax ICE Synthetic wax......meanwhile Aamir bhai had some guests over an still the man wouldnt leave the car`s side........made guest sit out with us an enjoy the mild cool weather......lettin the synthetic to bond for a bit I set about doing the tyres with Meg Endurance Gel.....although Aamir bhai had already treated the tyres with the mothers tyre shiner it paled infront of the awesomeness of the Eundurance gel......an the very first pic is witness to that......kept on chattin when Aamir bhai realized I wasnt going to finish without dinner, he promptly ordrered a pizza keh khaye aur jaye!!! Gari khatam karnay ka naam hi nahin laay raha....content that he had made a legitimate call I set about glazing, waxing the bumpers an removed the synthetic wax an folllowed up by a final pinnacle mf wipedown......Aamir bhai just stood dazed.......the colour of the car had gone several shades different.....an the bling factor was back in town......Lady is red was blushin full on hand.......though it was night time an I suck at pics, we took some an Aamir bhai has promised a wet mf wipe an pics for today....so lets see when they come around.....Aamir bhai it was a blast doing yer ride.......JazakAllah for the trust you put into me......an handed the red lady to my saloon...........

Thats good Umer, that you are following the detailing thread & keep your car in good shape ,indeed Usman & detailing crew is doing the great effort in spreading awareness regarding car care & detailing.

Products for Car's are like homeopathic medicines , may be disease is same but same medicine acts & give different results in two different people, same in detailing same product give different results on different cars, I did an experiment & apply very very small amount(almost invisible) of carnauba wax over a synthetic wax did by Usman on Friday & Alhomdullaha result come out good.

Regarding your query , ya it shifts up just before lock up in red zone , the best part out of it is, that by doing that you safe the gear box from abusing & max power at rite time

1- model of the car?
2- age of the paint ? any repaint panel
3- color of the car ? where it stays ? under cover or out in sun? because white , silver & light colors need extra effort to bring out gloss out of them
4- Indeed formula wax is lower end wax , that's why you wont feel difference.

Well the basic procedure is :

1- wash with car shampoo & for dry use Micro fiber not the plain cloth.
2- clay bar(its a professional item), so I would suggest cleaner wax (I am using Mother's) you can Google according to your budget. ( for cleaning purpose you can also use bit abrasive polish but with care.
3- than come the wax part you can use carnauba or synthetic wax according to your choice & budget.

• deep luster and shine on paint
• proven technology
• naturally-derived

Synthetic wax benefits
• easier to buff in/out
• good for quick gloss

The bottom line is what ever the product you use , the think which bring out the inner grains & shine out of you ride is dedication , love & time you give to it.

you did't tell me the brand & color of the car.

Considering 2010 paint I suspect its in good shape & you are taking care of it ( hope you are using good car shampoo for washing)

I would suggest you speed Carnauba wax , usually carnauba wax is difficult to remove but this one is very user friendly & also not very expensive , very good product for a stater.

But do remember use very small amount in circular motion , you can redo it after 2-3 days but dont use in excess on first day

All the steermatic came, or manufactured in Pakistan in 2006 , considering that its almost 6yr old paint , indeed maintaining these levels need lot of dedication & effort & I never forget to mention all brother's like you which always motivate me & give strength to carry on.

Dear Aamir Bhai,

Salam!!!

First of all heartiest wishes and regards for the steermatic you own, absolutely mind blowing car you have kept. We can only wish for such a neat and clean car here in Karachi as humidity in our city spoils even the toughest metals. Keep it good, keep it real, i m not an aged member of pakwheels but after quiet sometime found a person of same views and likes thread subscribed already. i must mention here that in Karachi we call this steermatic "LIPSTICK" cuz of its color but that does not reflect any obligations since you already call your machine as "Lady in Red"
Although your ride needs no additional beauty add ons but i would like to give one suggestion if you like, i dont know what to call that but its something related to glass tinting, the common ones are you paist a black/brown/mercury paper on windows (dark/medium/zero), the one which i m telling you is done on my Alto VXR 2001 model, normal window tint mentioned above costs only around 500-600 rs for the whole car excluding front screen but this one which i m telling costs something like 5000-6000 rs, i did not do it the previous owner of my Alto did it. What makes this tint different from the ordinary ones are mention below.
1) You get tiny air bubbles on you glasses when you paste ordinary paper, they look weird.
2) When you look from a distance they look good but when you see them closely they looks too much artificial.
3) from the inside at night, when other cars headlights points directly towards your windows, your glasses show numerous and numerous of lines and scratches due to that poor quality paper.
4) if you go for jet black/brown/mercury it gets too much dark inside at nights giving you a feeling of discomfort (ghabrahat/ghutan). if you go for medium or zero it does not give any observable difference compared to the stock shade of your glass also giving clear visibility inside your car, point is "for what reason i used medium/zero???"

jis tint ki mein apse baat kr raha hoon woh kuch is type k hain k during day when you see from a straight angle you wont be able to see anything inside the car but when you will change your angle a little bit it will give you clear visibility at night they change there shades to medium and in sunlight they turn a bit darker (photocell glasses effect). the best part is, from the inside it has a very good view of the outside, bahar wale apko clearly nahi dekh sakte but ap chahe din ho yah raat bilkul clear view le sakte hain, apko woh andherepun ki ghabrahat yah ghutan feel nahi hoti, aik or cheez yeh k normal tinting apk glasses pe se heat/sunlight reflect nahi krte but in this case they do both koi air bubbles nahi aate in mein, jab koi head light perti hain in pe tu yeh light ko scatter yah disperse nahi krte lekin uski intensity kum kr dete hain i ll try to upload pics of this coating in my alto to give you a clear view of what i m saying, cuz i have two Altos, one is with the ordinary tint and the other one is with this tint which i m telling.

We really need rain in Lahore so please do pray , its a powder like dust , getting every where & red lady is also under the protective layer of this powder , to check how much this dust is protecting the under coat shine , I am gona give a simple , plane water bath , no shampoo , no wax ,
Just water and dry it with Micro fiber.
