sure its form gear box or may be something related to clutch..if it was belt noise, then why would it vanish by pressing clutch

cause I had same type of cheen cheen noise from hood and it used to disappear after 5-10 seconds of startup and sometime by pressing brake or turning on headlamps or pressing clutch... this weekend the mechanic loosen the belt a bit and not there is no noise at all

nasir javaid is right, it my be due to the belts , as in my opinion these IS some effect on engine when we press clutch (the car becomes smooth) i dont think you need to change gear oil or there is some problem, it will be fine .
get all the belts checked properly

and then do update us with pics

pressing clutch, brake, turning on headlamps/ blower all put/release load on engine/alternator hence affect belts so noise comes and goes :)... when my noise is vanished and i put foot on brake slight cheen cheen comes again and goes away when i release brake

Did you checked the thing pointed out by Xulfiqar in that thread? still hear sound after testing those out?

not yet. will get it checked on this weekend...2 months before i did its complete front suspension work including new shocks,chimtas and all steering and axle boots replaced..while taking axles out some gear oil came out and collected in pan. i m very much sure that he must have wasted some amount of gear oil while filling it back....will update here as the problem will be resolved

not yet. will get it checked on this weekend...2 months before i did its complete front suspension work including new shocks,chimtas and all steering and axle boots replaced..while taking axles out some gear oil came out and collected in pan. i m very much sure that he must have wasted some amount of gear oil while filling it back....will update here as the problem will be resolved

My brother's Cultus also made this scream when it was started and it would scream every time the accelerator was pressed, but then it disappeared automatically, he got this problem fixed, I'll ask him how.I think this problem exists in majority of Cultus.

shocks 6000
chimtas 1750
steering/axle bush and some others about 1000
labour 2500 including 1000 for kharadia
previously i went for repairs but this time decided to go for new parts

All I spent on my ride is pair of tires, radiator service, brake service+ front discs, silencer gasket, meguiares new car kit, interior detailer and led dome light
