and i'm also having many TDK cassettes lying in my hom, those are around 14+ years old now

what about this setup i m using.
a desi usb device attached with the stock one. kenwood 6909 speakers at back with spacers while the oval shaped (stock), i have placed them in front. there is space for 4" circular speakers but somehow managed to fit and wiring is already present. A woofer box(one that i was using with my laptop ) is also placed in the space between back seat and cng cylinder..this woofer is attached with one of the speakers....beleive me i m getting awesome sound and that too without any amplifier

i'm curious about the woofer box you're telling kindly post pics of enclosure

brother i dont hear even a slight distortion while music is being played...and when i press pause, no noise at alllll....got this player from any reputable shop and after installation i made sure that it works well by checking it in all ways like full vol, full base/treble etc and then left the shop.

I had this usb player in my mehran and it was the only player, no pre.. and my experience with it was great.

Exactly! Cassette adapter is good for best sound quality. I too have TDK rotting since 15 years. Will check if they are still good then will get them recorded.
