can anyone post picture of coolant pipes who have disconnected heater. Heat gauge in my ride is not reaching mid even with auto fan. This is happening after ac mechanic disconnected heater pipes

i've had experience with PYRO coolant and the results were satisfactory, i used it in my mehran

i'll also change the radiator water to coolant in a few days , also i'll be getting the clutch plates and pressure plates changed, i can feel the illness of clutch plate

1200 for 4 ltrs, while caltex is 900 a bottle (non diluted, i was quoted more ), right? sgp is green, caltex is red which is long lasting. people at ps said their would last 40k kms. btw sgp is zic repacked same as naveed bhai suggested

Yes dear I got Caltex 800 per bottle and still not used it .....Lol .... Just after changing hose I am testing for any leaks so my precious coolant is not wasted ...... will put a cheap coolant which shopkeeper showed for 120 rs non diluted.. and try for leaks.

Then if everything is okeysh then will pour caltex

the zic and pyro green are guaranteed to protect all metals. but not so sure about the extended life ones like caltex.

i advise that we test the coolant in a jar, to see how it protects copper, brass and iron

the green ones are cheap, they are good for two years. but you should buy a trusted brand, there are plenty of fakes too.

Previously I had Pyro and it was really good. Then it just got evaporated/leaked and after almost 8 months there was more water (topped up) and less coolant.

Do you also have thermostat installed or removed? It should reach middle easily even thermostat removed.. Check you gauge by grounding its wire and see if needle travels to the right most end.

Sgp coolant is what I'll choose because the car is in warranty for another few months. and since its premixed finding distilled water won't be a hassle. @engr.naveed i tried to flush today but couldn't locate the petcock below and as you mentioned its a little complicated so I'll better leave it to Ps

Do you also have thermostat installed or removed? It should reach middle easily even thermostat removed.. Check you gauge by grounding its wire and see if needle travels to the right most end.

thermostat is removed but fan is auto. previously needle reached mid after 5 min but now 15 to 25%. i m sure pipes are messed up.

i bought glysantin....but it wasn't suitable for my car, i discovered this later. so now it is with me useless to me

Thermostat is also not present in my car and while driving the temperature needle stays at max 10-20% when i'm stuck in some traffic jam with AC on then it reaches around 40%

if it stays at 10-20% during this weather, then fan must be direct but in my case it is auto and C/H needle must remain at mid all the time in this kind of weather whether thermostat installed or not but with auto fan. Mine is not reaching mid just after heater was disconnected

I wanted you to post pic of engine bay of your ride so that i could see how heater is disconnected and how are the other pipes placed
