mine defogger or defroster is broken too. See if you can find conducting paint from any store,
I tried mixing carbon pieces in nail polish, but that was not effective, may be, I didn't mix them well.
I made a test lamp (with a normal 12v bulb with two wires ) , and then turn the ignition switch on(full) , push the defroster button... check for the break points.
if a single point is broken in line, try that silver conductive scotch tape or some small thin wire
I was able to just make my one top line to work, others are badly broken from too many places.

Brother, that was simple aluminium tape, easily found at Refrigerators or hardware shop.
Both sides are of silver or chrome.
but the sticky surface forms a little insulation layer, so scratch/clean some of it to make it behave as a conductor,

Aah yes I know the aluminium tape.. so how is the result? You can also try a copper wire or aluminium foil piece with simple scotch tape. Also make tape more thin for cosmetic reasons and it will look better.

Its looking odd, that's the reason I only repaired one line.
I tried connecting break points with copper-wire with scotch.tape , but that was not strong/tight enough to hold its position.It slipped after some time. Similar reason for a little thick piece, so it wont get slipped.

Honestly speaking, Im not satisfied with this fix, If someone manages to find conducting paint, that would work pretty well, as the stock-defogger lines are also a kind of paint I guess..

I tried different methods for a whole month before tinting my rear screen and giving up, in this DIY
Though its not tint-paper friendly but we can use simple toothpaste as anti fogging agent in winters

memory wire issue still not solved , although now its directly connected to battery terminal.
Japanese player used to have capacitors to hold the charge at the time of fluctuation or voltage variations, which I assume normally available Chinese brand have but of low quality.

Yes I too heard about conducting paint used to fix these lines but never saw in action

any guy using aftermarket projectors in cultus?
Im thinking to fit a projector with HID in my headlight, for better visibility but
seghal-motors claims that projectors can burn the light housing as there's no exhaust system.
any suggestions ?

I am having weird issues from last week. So last week i got my cultus's throttle body cleaned by a road side mechanic, he opened it, cleaned it with petrol and fitted it back.

But since that day, i am having a high idle rpm problem on cold start, so whenever my car is parked for like couple of hours and then i start it, idle rpm goes to 2200 and then as the engine gets warm, the rpm comes back to normal that is 800. At this point the fuel mixture gets rich and i can smell the fuel in smoke of car.

Some of you might think this is a normal behavior of EFI cars in winter, but i know my car. It was working fine till the day i got TB cleaned, so i was wondering if some one else had this issue and he may suggest a solution. Otherwise i will be taking the car to Suzuki 3s on this weekend.

that idiot has washed iac valve lube while cleaning throttle body with petrol relube it with atf or power streering fluid

in carby 4af engine there's a choke lock mechanism connected with spring which rise the accelerator and also become lock due to accelerator spring means both lock's mechanism lock each other until one press the pedal and due to vacuum chokes opens moving the choke lock away.When cars shut off vacuum turn's off that lock comes back but doesn't rise the pedal until one press the accelerator and so again both lock each other.

what got into you that you decided to service its throttle. You never need to service throttle of EFI cars. It's never needed. Now you learnt your lesson. Never fiddle with it again. Keep driving for one more weak and see if it resolves on its own.

My own car has this high RPM issue but not because of cleaning its throttle. It's TP sensor has gone bad probably because RPM often starts jumping without pressing accelerator and it also shoots up to 2500 RPM on cold start. The ECU of Cultus is so dumb it fails to detect problem with sensors.

Thanks.. So it doesn't decelerate automatically in all carby models and we need to press pedal.

Nope not in 4af but i remember connecting the choke directly with the vacuum does works...like we just have to give pedal before starting so it will lock but self without pressing pedal and after vacuum build's it decreases automatically.still engine to engine varies.

Its usual to press pedal before and during self and it still requires pressing pedal to decrease it...

by connecting choke directly it comes back to normal after start and doesn't require pedal to start as pedal is already rised by the choke.

Yup.... well I am ok with the current setup however if I remember correctly I saw someone got it done as his car idle rpm was high at start ...
