i have cultus 2010. its front disk pad dropped on a speed breaker so i have to drive the car to mechanic without one front disk pad although mechanic was 2KM away but the inner side (tawa) of wheel has now scratches on it. is it OK or i should repair or replace this part. my mechanic said its OK and scratches will be removed with passage of time.
if replacement is required where i can buy the original tawa in Lahore and at what price.

Nazar lag gayi apki Cultus ko itni chamka chamka k jo rakhi thi......... afsos hua dekh kar, ab to almost sari hi repaint consider hogi , nai?

Brother accident me bas bonnet and diggi damage huway thay , baaki some doors and panels were having small dings etc .
front bonnet and panels + back panels were to be painted so mene kaha doors bhi kra leta hu saari aik jesi hojaegi , warna shade difference anay ka dar tha

accident happened at jail road underpass, it was a chain accident

yes, saari repaint consider ho gi , pehle bhi the sides were showered so koi khaas farak ni parega , infact ab ziada neaT he ALHAMDULILLAH

YOU CAN SEE THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO ANY FENDER ETC , bas aisay e shower kra li baaki bhi fresh look k liye

Consider these suggestions/points:
1. For monograms on diggi, first take close measurement via Vernier Calliper from some 2015-2016 or non-accidented Cultus, write down those on paper & apply same on your car(First do marking with tape or pencil for better accuracy

1. If your budget allows then replace side patti with new modeled Aerodynamic door patti

2. Also get your Side mirrors repaint(as in new models)

3. You mud flaps are also of old model, if u have budget; go and replace with small ones(new model)

   1. For safe side, you can also get your car takaful( Islamic insurance)

By Tawa, i think u r referring Disk Pad, no issue. You can go for Disc resurfacing and go for resurfacing both sides as well as of rear assembly too. I think it will cost you Rs. 200/= per piece(Total Rs. 800)

BTW if it is more deeply damaged( as you have not attached nay picture for reference) that it cannot be even restore after resurfacing then go for original Brake Disk only from Suzuki 3S(do not compromise Quality on safety of your family as well as your car)

I agree, neat and clean to lag rahi hai : ) aor mujhay pata hai shoqeen logon k liye scratches aor dents dekh dekh kar "roz roz ghut ghut kar jeenay se behtar hai ek bar hi repaint walay zehar ka pyala pee liya jaye : ) wali baat hai.

For the monogram , i have exactly the same thing in mind , i'll trace out a stencil from some other car and will mark the exact area to place the monogram back

Regarding the door patti, the new patti looks okayish to me, the original thin door moldings look much better ( my personal opinion) considering the model of the car . someone looking at the car with old patti will know that the car is in original shape (my thought)

I asked my younger brother to get the side mirrors painted but he refused, saying that un pe nishan bht jaldi par jatay hen so leave them black, i agreed

i saw the new ones today but they look kinda odd , upper side se cover e nai kartay wo , bas neechay ko e niklay hotay hen

Dear brother,
If resale would have been of importance to me than i would have left the car dry dented , wouldn't have opted for paint. ALHAMDULILLAH i have a couple of friends who are still after me for this car and are offering a very good price because its ONLY SHOWERED, no potein anywhere, it still have its original metal sound when you knock it .

Considering the car to be 12+ years old now, i dont think a shower matters . YES i know people still have gems out there but its okay

i got a bargain deal from the painter and paid 20k for the paintjob (Roughly 1600 per piece). (denting was separate)
