Salam all members, I'm planning to buy my first car and have alto and cultus in consideration and have a budget of 600k but I'm more interested in cultus which is why posting in this forum please guide me which model comes in my range in good condition preferably islamabad registered

I believe first car should always be mehran.
U can get cultus 2005-6-7 in this budget. Also alto 2006-7-8.

Yes that's API-SN . Provides better cleaning and deposits . So whenever the tappet cover is removed . The engine is clean and i try to change oil on 2500 km . Because
1. I dont want oil full of deposits running for too long
2. I dont trust oil quality . ( I get oil changed from makki but still )

What I mean is that I have read lot of threads on PW that API SN is not good for these engines as recommended is API SG/H.
Also there is some zddp lacking thingy associated with synthatic oils...

Well you're wrong. When I was buying my first car I made up my mind that it would never be mehran. Well after a lot of searching I bought Cultus. And here I am ten years later and it's still going strong, never broke down. I doubt if could have ever kept a mehran for even 2 years.

Definitely Cultus. More powerful, more comfortable, more spacious. No comparison with Mehran or Alto. I'm having 2009 model and so far so good. Traveling 600 km on s single day has never been a problem, Al Hamdo Lillah.

If you have to learn driving and learn how to maintain a car . You should start with a mehran . Mehran is a teacher . Its practical its economical . But you should never go for a higher model mehran over cultus (if the car is well maintained) . Cultus is city and highway friendly . Will keep you in a better shape when you reach your destination . The cabin comfort and ride quality should be on top of your list looking for a car in this budget .

I had fabric permanent poshish in my mehran . It was black and durable . Never showed any sagging or fading after three four years of use and could last 2 years more easily . Maybe i will get parachute and fabric hybrid covers . In original sort of look .

T-Valve is installed with auto radiator fan, temperature needle stays in the middle.
Still my carby cultus exhaust tip gets rusty, I recently changed its rear most dholki, with a good quality one. Old one had huge holes because of rust aur ab is dholki mein bhi zang araha hai. Kia karun ?
