petrol here is 83 /liter and CNG is still for 138.9 /kg
so I guess its time to get rid of cng cylinder.
Any idea how to make petrol average better ? what should be the jet size in carburetor to make average better but it should not jerk at heavy acceleration ?
I try to keep the rpm below 2200 while driving, still its hardly 7-8km/liter in city without AC

In which city cng is 138?

In Karachi, cng is 123 per Kg.

Almost 40 Rupees difference in Karachi but still some people prefer cng as it gives long mileage than petrol.

I personally prefer cng because my Carburettor is not 100% so it gives jerk in petrol drive but smooth on Cng drive

Abbottabd, they were saying new prices would be effective from this friday I guess.
I also feel drive on cng more smooth, but acceleration is amaizing on petrol + needed trunk space.

It's been two or three months when I randomly hit this thread and it did not let me distract. Anyhow, today I reached last post. Very informative and helpful forum. Such forums are very useful for beginners like me. Salute to pioneer @nfsmostwanted and all other participants who kept it live for such a long time. Keeping a car is an art which needs passion.

Two years back, ignoring everyone advice to get Mehru (budget approx 6 lac), I went for Cultoo (my children named it). It is VXLi 2009 in almost stock condition. In these two years, I've driven it above 22000 km, and it never disappointed me. Very reliable, economical and comfortable car. All my friends now appreciate my decision.

You may call me lazy or whatever, I've never tried anything even close to your DIYs. Three reasons; budget, lack of time and non availability of tools. But now I am inspired and naturally got motivated, so I feel I am doing injustice to this little beauty. I'll try to follow you guys and will keep you posted about all the things (if ever happen )

Now need first advice: Please suggest me a good mechanic for engine tuning in Rawalpindi. On 22 May 2020, I got tuning from a mech from PWD Road Rawalpindi, who was a friend of my cousin. He cleaned throttle body and changed the spark plugs. Previously I installed plugs from Suzuki IG Motors, which served for about 19000 km. He suggested NGK G Power and I agreed. Now car seems to be under power. Lack of pickup, acceleration response and occasional missing. Is it spark plug or something else? Pindi boys are requested to suggest a good mechanic oe should I go to Suzuki IG Motors again? Their services were satisfactory but costly. They charge 2400 for general checkup including tuning, general checkup, brake service, computer scan etc.

These NGK are very good plugs if orignal. However i believe your car's timing needs to be adjusted.

cultus is one of the best rear room rides that i have had experience with. they are much better engineered and much suited to Pakistan.

Brother switch to multiflow condensor, it will improve the cooling and will reduce the load of compressor on engine.

Also get new AC dryer filter. usually Multiflow condensors have embedded filter slot.

Get new multi flow condenser, Dont go for Leakage repair

Bhai, Immediately replace inner coil, I think you will get Toyota Vitz Multi flow compliant Inner Coil which will have better air flow

its almost 165k . using shell 10w40 .

I got my timing belt changed back in Mar. It has been working smooth since then. It started missing and feeling under power only few days back.

Fellow Cultus owners I need a little guidance. My car is 2000 Cultus, 175k driven.
After being driven in the recent torrential rain in Karachi, following issues have popped up.
1. I suspect water mixing with oil. I checked the oil level on dip stick and it felt watery and a little little muddy. I think that water may have entered from the silencer pipe.
Second, On starting the car, engine goes into very high RPMs as if auto choke has been engaged or accelerator pedal has been pressed by mistake. On pressing the clutch rpm becomes normal.

Change your car oil immediately.

your carburator needs cleaning however for now you can wait a bit on that. the issue of instance raise upon start up might be associated to rust due to water.
