@conflicted
thanks for reply... so i assume that you did not chose to camp at both dudi and seral, actually decided to camp at mulla ki basti and after seral gali, any specific reason for this? or it just turned out that way?
@muhammedahmed
thanks buddy, we want to keep sharan as a fallback destination in our plan, if everything fails, we will go sharan : D because it seems a little off the main route, and i'm sure thats why it has not become crowded like shugran
@imtishal
thank you very much for your detailed reply... it will really help
it looks like dudi trek's main difficulty is being lengthy... we did not trek from raikot to tattu, instead we covered almost 4/5 of that route on jeeps
but yes, we went upto fairy meadows and then upto the old base camp of nanga parbat (where they have a monument/ grave like structure)
well as for your question why we are planning a long trek... dudipat is for sure, coz this is 3rd time we are planning for it, first time we were feeling lazy after doing aanso lake, and decided to skip it, 2nd time there was heavy snow, now this year we delayed our plan upto sep to avoid as much snow as we can, and keep it first thing in our trip so that we are not tired... for seral and ratti gali, i'm thinking because from dudipat seral is almost 1 day (as many people mentioned on this site and other places) and because the altitude of dudi and seral is not much different, we will not have to "climb" any further, or at least not as much as we would already done while coming to dudi, and for ratti gali, we dont want to come down all the way from dudipat to besal then take jeep to jalkhad and again go to noori and from there ratti gali...
and yes, we started some workout, though its late, but not too late : )
