now what colors to go about?

will have to scratch or buff away all the green parts..and the yellow of the digits
well white digits and red needles are very common these days, my suggestion is to reverse it red digits and white needles? or comlete white one, or white digits and blue needles

Saw White Digits n Blue needles in Alto....was luking gud....waiting to see the final product
yar do keep the brightness controlled, use some resistors, white lights look good but too bright makes them look cheap, it shud be only as bright that it fits in with the rest of the interior.
AOA. I have some LED's lying around and plan installing em in my cars Map light. Kindly inform what resistance to use as i plan installing three in series. OR any other suggestion.

scratched away the green stuff
not going to scratch the yellow digits.. too much accuracy needed..
going with red led coz it shines through the yellow digits with proper intensity..

@nfssaadsir you doing it for charade na?plz make a complete coverage how you open it,remove needels ,where are you going to place led's etc etc i also want to try it..

trying to buy some surface mount leds.. apparently only saddar main milaingi..
smd leds are tiny.. and i can stick them directly to the dial.. normal leds will take a lot of space compared to smd
and how you remove the needles? just by pulling them out?
the rpm needle comes of by just pulling.. the speedo is a bit more tricky..
any how.. got the leds today..
smd leds are heck expensive so dropped the idea.instead bought flat top red leds..flat top coz they will stick better..
