Hello
purchased new mehran was going somewhere at night I didn't see speedbreaker from far I see when it was like 6 or 10 metters away I pressed break my car skid didn't reduce speed (tyres was original) we were 4 inside
after yesterday morning was going some where with my family speed was 60 next car press breaks and I do so again I don't feel good in breaks again I heard scratch sound from tyres was 2 adults and 2 chchild's then I went sahiwal. And purchased Yokohama s207 155-12 also changed rims too 13000 for rims and 19200 for tyres so please tell me how is performance of these tyres ? Also prices is good ? This is mehran brand new. Now may I need servo breaks or not ? Also 26 psi for fornt and 28 psi for rear tyres ok ? Speed 100 kmph to 120 kmph is safe on these tyres with stock brakes ?

S207 is a really nice tire n brakes of mehran r bit difrnt frm othr cars. Apply thm hard but moderately

@faisal_computer Did you feel any improvement in the car's comfort? as the car is well known for it's hard ride.

Get the servo brake system.. These tyres are good but wont provide best performance with the stock brake system

You have the done the right thing ,Yokohama is nice soft tires.. I had installed Bridgestone earlier in my mehran after the replacement of kachra General tires,I didn't felt the change in hardness,I replaced them with Yokohama 155/70/r12 and now its pleasure to drive the car.BTW didn't you sell off your stock general tires?19200 for these Yoko's?

I myself have used yoko s207 in coure nd i must say they are too soft for our paki roads. My car tyre started swollen up from the sides in no time. Results i changed one with the new one nd after sometime the other did the same. I went to the tyre shop nd got rid of them. Installed maxxis nd its been an year im not having any issue. I hope this yokos work good in your case

Exactly i really dont know but it was like after 7 to 8 months. My daily running of the car is 25km nd no out station trips. So now u can well imagine the softness of tyres
