Yokohama Advan DB v552 vs Yokohama Blue earth es32

Hi everyone.

I am planning to replace tyres for my corolla 2015. I have two questions. First are advan db V552 better than v551? and secondly, has yokohama replaced Advan DB with Blue earth es32? I queried tyre point and the told me that blue earth is new pattern for Advans which they have released in 2018. Which tyre should I go for if all three of them are different? and can someone also suggest a good dealer in lahore?

without a doubt advan v552 have used es32 in civic x advan v551 in city and then v552 in my own turbo x they are the best tyre out of all noiseless plus it absorb bumps in most perfect manner increasing the overall comfort level e32 are more grip like 19/20 but only in wet conditions

ES used to be performance series of Yokohama.

Yokohama Advan DB V552 is the best tyre in market out of all the brands and types available in terms of comfort and only competitor it has is Yokohama ES32.

both are suggested. choose the one which is made in japan and has latest date out of both.

If you want cheaper yokohama tyres, than instead of paying triple price, simply go to track stand tyre market. smuggled tyres are off loaded there everyday and washed cleaned packed with fancy stickers and delivered to all shops in lahore in neela gumbad, defence, wahdat town, muzanag, faisal town etc

there you will find more brands like M, B, D, P, C etc

Did you get the tyres? If yes then from where? Also why didnt you go for Tyre point as you said you got that adv8ce from them?

Yes, I got Advan DB V552 for Rs 10500. As I live in Sahiwal so I got it from here. I didn't go for Blue earth as they are not the successors of Advans as guided by tyre point. Advans and Blue earth are two separate types which I could understand from above mentioned comments.

v552 is much improved. better than v551. v552 is claimed to be the quitest tires in the market by yokohama. However; grip will be compromised. Depends if u prefer comfort or performance

Hello ,recently i was facing the same dilemma, Following are the pros n cons for both tyres

1. Advan DB established brand with well reputation
2. Advan DB is widely available but unfortunately all smuggled .

Blue earth being a new comer and not much marketed i think you can get good deal as tyres are pretty fresh in terms of import and are not smuggled yet at least for sack of Lahore some shops .

Its a tough decision but i liked the blue earth tyre rubber more fresher and softer .Any ways good luck with your purchase both are good tyres in my personal view

What are the treadwear ratings of both? I have heard l Advan DBs wear at a faster rate than majority of tyres

Advan DB V551 currently in my Turbo...... Quiet and feels Makhan Mallai on Motorway but feels " Hard in City on imperfections " to be more precise it is the quietest & smoothest tyre among all its competitors but not the comfy as people projects. My feed back is with my 3rd time usage.... City, Grande & Turbo..... Continentals despite do not compete the quietness of Advan DB are Plush, comfy & a bit more grippe.

Based on personal experience of my car vs colleague's car both at nearly 22k kms after putting Advans & Conti MC5...

The Treadwear of Conti UC6 = 340

Traction & Temperature rating of both same i.e. A

Changed at 50K from Toyo.

Can anyone help, I need a new tire and options I have is Yokohama Blue earth es32 OR Yokohama Blue earth AE51 GT.

Which one is best in terms of handling (corners, wet and dry grip) and noise and how they compare to Yokohama Advan DB.

Car is 8th Gen Civic and people say I drive fast so handling is also important. Previously I have used yokohama Advan DB and Michelin energy saver. So my comparison is both these tires.

Ae 51 is more comfortable than es32 but does not last long....ae51 is a much better tyres as compared to advan db in terms of comfort but in terms of longevity it falls short...if you want most long lasting tyres...go for pirelli...

Long lasting is a secondary concern, first is performance and noise. I
dont think Pirelli would be available, I think due to this Covid shit
