I usally fill the gas from DHA CNG in Lahore.. Everytime there pressure is around 150 Psi, thats why i cant get the good average from my car!

Mileage of CNG should be noted in KMs PER KG as per the meter when filled.
Atleast the Cylinder Size difference will be omitted in this way as well as the Price of CNG.

km/kg gives a clear idea. At some filling stations, you get your tank filled @ 8kgs, other fill it for 8.5 kg while some high pressure stations may fill the same tank with 9kg gas.

u wont believe neither did I but todays a different story. My Alto VXR did 272 KMs YES 272 KMs in one cylinder.NO i didnt forget to reset the Odo. I categorically Zeroed it in the morning! Car is 4.5 years old,72KMs on the odo.resons for exceptional mileage:
1.Changed Engine Oil,Oil Filter n Transmission oil(after 30k usage last change on 40k) yesterday.
2. 30 PSI tyre pressure all tyres
3. 95% highway driving from Kharian to Pindi n back in one tank!
4. NO AC as its winters.
5. No traffic on highway as i left after fajr namaz so min rush
6. Avg speed 80-90KMs n changing gears on right time.
6. Got the car tank filled from HEERA CNG kharian which are the most popular CNG stations(they have 3 in Kharian alone) i noticed the pressure it was freaking 250 bars! The guy at the dispenser told me this is the Dispenser for the Hiaces n other transport vehicles so they keep higher pressure as the veh owners demand more pressure for more cruising ranges. bloody hell for a mere 10-15% extra mileage they are risking so much! Stupidity! But im also saying like all other transporters. You can come back in 1 refill! 272KMs in a cylinder is remarkable although i had to go thru sadiqabad bazaar due to diversion. Or else might have got 280kms outta the cylinder! Ever saw such mileage in a single cylinder??? Not me the least n it was abnormal.
8. Car is on 165s which are fairly new(10k used). Imagine if its on its stock pencil size 145s how much that would inc the mileage.

101% agreed. The total cost /KM will be the same whatever the pressure may be.just the cruisng range will increase. This is the 4th time ever ive used this pump as usually its jam packed n lines till the road whereas the others are all free. For newer cylinders it might sustain for a while but for older cylinders especially commercial vehs filling a cylinder many times a day, 24/7/365 it is a slow catastrophe in the making. The CNG cylinder is under more stress n can affect the structural integrity of the cylinder and adverse affects on its metallurgy. I had forgotten it was an off CNG day in RWP region. Heera was the last in KHarian so refilled from him. I only fill form a certain pump which never exceeds 220PSi wherfeas he says he is always under pressure from Hiace n Bus owners to inc the pressure.hes a bit more educated n says he wont break the law n play with the lives of others!

I know its a stupidity taking apic while driving n will never advocate others to do such a thing but i was compellled to take the pic. Plz note taking a pic from ur phone while driving can be fatal . Sorry for absurdnance in advance! Point to note here is to boycott such pumps as they are a playing with our lives.

Further the natural gas near Juhlum to Attock and upwards (specially from Musa Khel Feild) have high calorific value per unit volume which yeilds more energy giving better work output (milage in this case) this is another reason of more kms in a fill.

yep its great on CNG but equally bad on petrol! It consumes more petrol than my 1.8 civic auto.now thats really pathetic.

and 130-140 in Long Route

thats 1 of reasons Gujjar khan has one of the best CNG stas with great performance.but i got my car filled from Kharian.the insane filling pressure of the CNG sta is the main reason of higher output out of 1 refill.
