Honda Civic VTi Prosmatec 7th gen:
60kg cylinder, fills in around 480rs.

Runs around 80kms in city, pathetic average.

Nissan Sunny 1998:
60 kg cylinder.

Around 130kms. Wow !

CNG average mainly depends on the Methane gas content in CNG. normally Methane content in CNG in Punjab (SNGPL) varies between 86 to 89%. but we are charged on kg basis.
if Methane (CH4) is equal to 89% in the gas then millage will be better and it will reduce when it touches 86%.

honda civic 1.8 (2006) manual CNG (55kg)
fills for about Rs 450-500 i.e 8.3-8.7 KG of cng... (Rs 53/kg)
however you can calculate according to Rs 63.11 which is the Government's official rate
in city without A.C (125-135)km/cylinder
on highway 100-110km/h without A.C (180-195)km/cylinder
once got 232km without A.C on highway speed strickly between 80-100km/hr

in city with A.C (85-95)km/cylinder
on highway 100-110km/h with A.C (165-175km/cylinder

I have not tried on High way, but in Local (without AC) it is giving me 175 KM in one full CNG tank of 60L, cost now around 720Rs. I try to keep the RPM under 3000.

I have not tried it with AC as i have installed CNG recently.

Is it a good number or can it be better?

i hv 95 civic too cng average is same but petrol avr is low thn spectra coz its carbi give 8 to 10km/l local

my bro hv alto 1000cc i remember when we hd trip from khi to sadiqabad i had spectra my bro had alto we both hv same speed 100km/h spectra me 2000 ki cng dali aur altro me 2400 ki i dont knw y alto consumption is not good

i dont know how ur cars are giving dat much mileage..i have 99 vti mannual it never gave me more than 95 kms in city widout ac however i have tuned my car several times from several mechanics every mechanic asid dat my car is perfect but no use

@benaam , brother it all depends on how there city drive is......, i was of the same opinion a few months back that why my civic 94 is not giving more than 90-95 km (with in DHA) , but now a days i am driving it for about 50 km /day (on long route outside DHA)at an average speed 80km/h because of signal free ways ,its giving me around 140-145 km per 600RS CNG , i.e. 4.13 RS per KM...
on Highways its gives amazing economy.... 200KM per 600 Rs
