I also like 5/40
In my recent threads, I've mentioned that 5/40 is the new oil in the market and every company has launched its brand. Its neither as thin like 0/30 or 5/30, nor its thicker like 10/40 or 20/50.
Hence best oil to use for new ~ medium life gasoline engines.

And most importantly, if you can find PTT Performa 0/40, JUST TRY IT FOR SURE. You will forget even Zic XQ, ZIC OW, liqui moly's synthenol, or any similar oil.
Ptt Performa's 0/40 costs same like Zic XQ. i-e Rs. 3800/4L BUT PERFORMANCE IS UN-MATCHABLE.

i dont know why u praising so mch on PTT Performa....well i like liqui moly n its one of best oil in Europe but not better than Amsoil fully synthetic which is the best in US n other countries...it was available but cost too much here

There is only very simple reason that reflects my liking towards Performa.
This oil is new in the market and presently re-packing has not started here. When I'll come to know that its being re-packed over here, then I will immediately switch to other oil like Volvoline, Liqui Moly, etc..

If we are living in US, then perhaps I'd prefer & suggest people to use Mobil1 or Redline or AMSoil or Royal Purple, etc.
But what, as always, I will strongly emphasis that "ORIGIN DOES MATTER".

Mobil1 available in Pak. is not of same quality as its available in USA/Canada.
Liqui Moly available in Pak. is not of same quality as its available in Europe.

But here we are using these oils by keeping in mind that these are super best in Pak. too. Whereas its NOT TRUE.
And therefore, in such circumstances, if some oil is available in genuine condition, then why should not I let others know about it too?

PTT PERFORMA OIL AVAILABLE IN PAK. IS ABSOLUTELY SAME QUALITY AS ITS AVAILABLE IN THAILAND.
SIM OIL AVAILABLE IN PAK. IS ABSOLUTELY SAME QUALITY AS ITS AVAILABLE IN MALAYSIA & INDONESIA.

But sometimes I know am trying to spread such awareness too early while it may take few years for people to know that all the oils that are being re-packed in Pak. are not of 100% same quality as their tags outside bottles shows up.

salam to every one.I have daihatsu mira e;s 660cc 2011 eco idle.I want to change its engine oil according to the manual i can use 0w-20 or 5w-30 SN so my question is which grade is best in karachi weather???
