im using zic ow in my corolla from last 10000kms till now it is ok the only thing coming in my mind again and again is will it be suitible in summer such hot whether in lahore with ac as it is 1300cc so the get a lot hotter

5w30 suitable for temp till (-7`C)
for summer think about 10w as temp never goes in (-) during summer,what i think
wait for experienced members to clear this point

if its hot in lahore in summers and u use AC, it doesnt mean u start using grease instead of oil in the engine

if u r using the best grade oil in a new car, nothing to worry about. the oil retains its properties on extreme conditions in such oils

ZIC OW SAE 0W-30, The 0W potion of the oil viscosity rating indicates the characteristic of the oil which allows cold satartability. Oils with a lower value before the W allow for easier starting of the engine.
The 30 indicates the oil viscosity when oil is at its operating temprature.
Viscosity cSt 100 <SUP>o</SUP>C
So brother don’t worry about engine oil viscosity grading. Your car’s engine temperature will not rise in summer from its normal operating temperature. The temperature gauge will indicate normal temperature in summer too with A/C

No problems at all.The ZIC engine oil has been tested in hot humid UAE weather nothing to worry about... zic has what it takes to keep engine upto the mark--buy from a reputable shop and you're good to go.

suggest me another fully synthetic to switch

ZIC OW is 0W-30 viscosity grade. For quality it is API SN and also ILSAC GF-5, Toyota also recommend ILSAC certified oil.
If u want more high quality then use ZIC XQ 5W-40 which is PAO (Poly alpha olifine)
But 0W-30 grade is the best viscosity grade

hi,
i m owner of newly cuore cng, in fact its my 1st car and i ve some very little knowledge about automobiles.
after running of 2500Km i went for oil change. i had no much info about engine oild which one to chose, Toyota motors suggested to use toyota oil. so an oil changer suggest me to use ZIC A+ in my new car on 1st oil change, so i used it.
my issue is
1- is it good to use zic a+ to use in new cuore cng.
2- i also heard that ZIC OW is some better than ZIC A+, so can i use Zic OW next time ?

ZIC OW 0/30 is among the best available oils here. Keep using it for sure.

However, I'll personally suggest to switch ZIC XQ 5/40. Ofcoarse its expensive than OW, but quality wise better than OW.
You car engine is 1300CC, so it will be happy with this oil.

i was using Zic XQ in my markx 1.5 years then i switched to liqui moly as XQ was short in mkt tht time didnt want to get OW as it come only in 0w30...i prefer 5w40 over 0w30 oil grade

i was using Zic XQ in my markx 1.5 years then i switched to liqui moly as XQ was short in mkt tht time didnt want to get OW as it come only in 0w30...i prefer 5w40 over 0w30 oil grade

I also like 5/40
In my recent threads, I've mentioned that 5/40 is the new oil in the market and every company has launched its brand. Its neither as thin like 0/30 or 5/30, nor its thicker like 10/40 or 20/50.
Hence best oil to use for new ~ medium life gasoline engines.

And most importantly, if you can find PTT Performa 0/40, JUST TRY IT FOR SURE. You will forget even Zic XQ, ZIC OW, liqui moly's synthenol, or any similar oil.
Ptt Performa's 0/40 costs same like Zic XQ. i-e Rs. 3800/4L BUT PERFORMANCE IS UN-MATCHABLE.

If the engine is in good condition. Then simply choose 5/40. But don't don't don't use this oil from the local companies like Total, Shell, Caltex, PSO, etc.

Try to find 5/40 oil from one of the following companies
PTT Performa.
Volvoline
Liqui Moly
Kixx's (TIN Pack only)
