Dear all,

Please advice me should i use ZIC X7 5W/20 in City auto 2011 and if you can recommend me another option ,
Last i used liquimoly 5x30 and result was outstanding but now liquimoly is not in my range ,

imo liquimoly is too pricy. you could get genuine honda oil for less.

Instead of 5w-20, I would suggest to go for 5w-30, API SN, Fully Synthetic engine oil from any reputed brand. And if you want best for bucks, go for Total Quartz 9000 Future series (or latest compatible available). I think, now, 5w-30 oil grade would best suit your car.

As per https://www.honda.com.pk/parts/index.php/products/bycategory/61 , 0w-20 (for Models: Civic 2016~ , City 2017~ , BR-V 2017~), 5w-30 and 10w-30 are the only recommended oil grades for Honda vehicles, by Honda Pakistan. 5w-20 may be avoided, and if I am not wrong, 5w-30 oil grade would be mentioned in your car's owner / user manual. So I would suggest to stick with 5w-30, and Total Quartz 9000 Future Series.

While honda oil you change at 5k intervals, liqui moly can be used for longer. Im changing it at 10k intervals, using genuine honda oil filter. Even at 10k it runs smoother, starts smoother (noticeable in winters) compared to honda oil. Currently at 150k, engine runs great.

i just get good old 15w40 caltex delo gold, rs2200 for 4 liters, change at 4000km for my 96 civic. new oils not good for my car.

I just checked from the store where I get it from, its rs4800 (5w30 AA). This is the official retail price for this oil in lahore.
