Thanx god atleast i found something................. out of 100s of must have things. Where else it may be used as it is a 500g packing tin made by Molyslip.

This is recommended to be applied to new spark plug threads to ensure it does not get stuck, it is also used in drum brake adjusters and backing plate where the brake shoes slide.

It is also used on exhaust manifold nuts to prevent siezing and galling, also applied to the little bolts that hold the heat shield on the manifold.

It is also recommended to be used on exhaust flange bolts n nuts.

It is also used in diesel engine glow plug threads to prevent them from siezing in the head.

sir jee, just buy such material from wherever you feel comfortable & satisfied. And then come to our shop and the brake service for your car will be done honorary. All what you need is time & little fuel to reach us. Rest will be done for free and it will be only for you.
If ever Zulfiqar come to our shop for oil change, I will request him to stay here and try to sell couple of oil bottles with his excellent knowledge and change customer's mind from 20/50 zic/havoline to some else oil.

Someone;) here was saying that @goodman7 will purchase 1 K.g packs of both Silicone Grease and Copper Antisieze because he loves his JDM and his brother can also utilise on shop and he sill surely gift some 50-60 grams to you also. Now he is saying that I will have to buy 1KG packs of both to use 50 grams of it.

Why do you want to change customers mind? What is the problem in selling what they want? If you feel that they are making a wrong choice, just suggest and your job is done. I like to get work done from such people, not the ones who try to tell you one thing or another and when you show them some logic they get judgemental and egoistic.

and why should I do that?

As Ive said before, you as a seller can only suggest according to the technical specs required. If the customer chooses not to take your suggestions its not your job to force him/her to buy something you prefer.

Or you can do what I did in Karachi.

If a customer buys an off spec oil from you and wants you to install it in his car's engine - refuse the install service. Simple. He can go down the street and get any jackass off the road to do it for him or he can do it himself.

Yes fully agree. First couple of years we tried to convince many people to use better quality engine oils. But sooner we feel that we are loosing customers because they are not coming back whom we are trying to give our suggestion based on car books (company recommendation).
Then we change the strategy and just follow what customer says. But let me share you very openly, that majority of Pak. car owners still believe that best engine oils are Havoline/ZIC 20/50 (or zic A+) and literally pour them wrongly most of the time.

Yesterday a person came to us with Suzuki Bolan for which company recommends to use min. 10/40 and max. 20/50. But guess what, he asked to pour ZIC A+ (5/20). Ofcoarse we followed what he said, but his choice was rather enchanting to us. (sometimes ignorance is Blessing too).

usually these are petroleum based greases. i require silicone base or synthetic grease for brake caliper sliders.
