yes real imei is erased when they unlocked it and a new IMEI is spoofed which is soon detected by PTA and it gets blocked.

Why u don't take a 4g cheaper used mobile n insert zong data Sim n use hotspot of that mobile as internet wifi device

Which cheap 4g enabled smart phone do you recommend? Remember Zong 4g device is available in 3500 Rs.
One of the reasons i posted this topic here is to know if zong 4g device has better speed than 4g data connection? I have seen zong 4g device getting download speed of 30 Mbps. Do you think 4g data connection gives that speed too?

Any zong sim works without unlocking... if u want to use other zong sims you don't need to unlock anyway...

Secondly, if PTA blocks the unlocked device, all you need to do is update your device, your original zong OS is restored. BTW while unlocking they dont change IMEI, they just change the firmware...

For zong device you need to change imei as well since the Device imei is mapped. You wont be able to run zong prepaid sim internet with zong device. I bought telenor huawei device. Changed its firmware. Using it on orignal imei.

Zong prepaid sim won't work without changing imei. Thats for sure. I have changed firmware of 5 devices . Telling you on personal experience.

I have a jazz device and I'm thinking to unlock it.
Because I have used an unlocked device in my opinion it works just fine with every sim.

Nope.
Dongles are mostly huawei manufactured. Then locked by the carriers. So no reason for it.
But it will brick if you do it wrong.

Mujhey Zong ki unlocked device use kertey hooye 6th year hey aajtak koi problem nahin aai Zong bolt mein Jazz sim use ker raha hoon .Got it for 2500 rs .Iska autoupdate wala feature Off ker dein aur enjoy karein
