Zotye Holding Group is located at YongKang City, ZheJiang Province of China, which is famous as the capital of hardware in China and with efficient transportation facilities. Zotye is a relatively smaller automobile manufacturer as compared to giants like FAW, Chery, Geely etc.. however it has the factory area of 500,000 square meters and more than 3000 employees with the capacity of annual production of 100,000 automobiles, more than 800 auto molds, 250,000 sets for automobile and meter instrument and stamping parts respectively.

Fiat had sold the Palio and Siena platforms to the small automaker Zotye. Earlier, Fiat sold the Multipla and Lancia Lybra platforms to Zotye as well. Zotye showed us the Langjun sedan (Siena) and Langjie hatch (Palio) to the Beijing Auto Show in April earlier this year. Production of the Langjie hatchback has now started, it is rolling off the line in Zotye’s brand new factory in Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province. Engine is a Mitsubishi-sourced 1.3l with 65kw power and 115nm torque and a 1.5l with 88kw power and 147nm torque. Production of the Langjun sedan will start soon.

Price is expected from 50,000 yuan [6.24 lac PKR] to 70,000 yuan [8.74 lac PKR].

really nice cars i think pakistani people with money should take a look at the chinese how they are doing stuff.
and when will we be able to have chinese cars in pakistan why doesnt the govt allow them.i think its coz of our local assemblers

The front seems to be VW Scirocco / Polo inspired thats why it looks cool from the front. The rest of it isnt appealing.

The Zotye Langjie is expected to hit the market after Shanghai Auto Show, with some improvements in exterior, interior and engine. Exterior has some little changes which are visible at the rear end, tail lights in particular. In the Interior, the dashboard and door panels have been improved and looks much stylized now. Sound system is also configured with a higher 6-disc CD and 6 speakers and can support the MP3 format, with USB and SD card interface. Engine options include 1.3L Mitsubishi 's 4A90M engine, with maximum output of 73kW/6000rpm, maximum torque of 126N.m/4000rpm. and 1.5L Mitsubishi 's 4A91S engine with maximum output of 88kw/6000rpm, & maximum torque of 147Nm/4000rpm.

The Zotye Z200 and Z200HB are based on the Fiat Siena and Palio respectively. Fiat sold the platforms to Zotye back in 2008. When production started Zotye called the cars the Langjun and Langjie but decided earlier this year to go for Z200 and Z200HB instead.

funny thing is that the sedan at 5.7 lacs happens to be cheaper than a Mehran VXR CNG at 5.84 lacs here

Great! Another perfectly decent Italian runabout ruined by the Chinese. The interior looks hideously overstyled, as does the rear, which to me, looks Peugeot inspired.

Sedan is decent and at 5.7 lacs can become hot cake in Pakistan but alas !
